Maddie,
I have a few ideas for the interim...maybe we could add a little extra fabric into the area to prevent continual rippage (is that even a word???) until the whole seat thing can get resolved...that would at least allow other swappers to keep using stroller #1. What type of material (color, size, etc.) are we talking about? I am not a great seamstress, but I can probably sew in a little extra fabric at the seam to make it last (as I am supposed to be using it in lieu of mrsdennison stroller sitting, unless of course #5 is in better shape when I get there.)
Just let me know how you want me to proceed and which stroller you'd like me to use while I'm there!
I was thinking the same thing. However I think that if you could cover the whole seat bottom it would be better. Then you do not have 2 seams close to the tear. I was thinking Denim. You can get it in an array of colours and it is a strong durable material. The only issue is that you will need a denim needle and stronger thread. Both of these can be purchased at a fabric store.
I wish that I could see the stroller and get the dimensions but this model is not avalible in Canada. If I could I could get my Mom to make covers to go over the seats as she is a seamstress and has all the equipment in her basement.
Maddi if you do have an old seat or stroller that you could take pictures of and /or send measurements???? Or both!!! I could see what I could do.
Do not even think of shipping it here because you will croak at the international charges
