There is a large storage area under the stroller. It is the width of the stroller and about 8 inches deep (guessing). We put a small insulated cooler bag filled with water bottles, juice bags and snacks, three kids fleece jackets one adult jacket, the rain cover and the shade. Without the jackets, we fit the cooler bag and a large backpack. It holds a lot. It is VERY easy to access from the back and from the sides.

We hung the backpack on the handle when the bottom part was full. We are a family of 5 with a DD2, DD4 and DD6. We had a lot of stuff!

THANKS!!! This is super helpful to know!!!! I'm sure we'll have it stuffed too since we'll have jackets/layering in early Dec!

I'm so like going to be a widow before this trip happens!

I booked out resort last year and been faithfully making payments(almost paid off...wahooo). I recently bought the airline tickets @$139 R/T, we won the universal tickets, DD and I have been talking Disney non-stop (We just love WDW) all the while DH grimaced, moaned, commented how he just hates WDW and doen't understand our passion about all the hype. Again and Again, I'd say "are you sure you don't wanna go...we have soooooo much fun" and he would roll his eyes and say "nope, mommy and daughter can just have at it, Daddy is going to own the remote for 2 whole weeks. Well....GRRRRRRRRRRRRR to him.

So tonight, in the middle of a Disney commercial he calmly says "when are we going? I need to request the time off" :scared1: I know I gave him the most what the heck are you talking about look and said "so you wanna go with us???????????????????????????????????????" He says yep, with all the talking I decided I kinda miss the fun.

I really think it would be easier to KILL him than to start replanning everything...but since I love him so much, I will try to get him on the same flight, hopefully sitting near us, call WDW to get him added because we have free dining, order him Universal tickets since we won ours during Super bowl, Search the net to find him shirts to match the outfits we have for the photopass private photoshoots, and get him tickets for the parks.

Trust me, if it would have been after the ADR's, I would have shot him!

MY-OH-MY I love that man of mine (should be why-o-why do I love that man of mine):rotfl:

Ha Ha well the good thing is that you didn't make your ADR's yet. Anddddd, at least he wants to go! My DH is going kicking and screaming! He's really just giong for the girls but my HOPE is to "WOW" him so much that he becomes a Disney freak like me. (This is his first trip!)

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to have found this thread.

I am interested in RC #2 and my dates are Nov 7-14th. I will PM my information now.

Thanks!

Thanks for all your comments, helps this newbie to better think things through and maybe know how things will go.

yahoo!!! The countdown is so on!! :cool1:
Getting nervous trying to get all my ducks in a row and then relax when I get there and take everything in.:rotfl:

Your kids might be too old for this, but for our countdown (started at 45 days out) we made a paper chain. My DD6 DD4 and DD2 decorated each strip and we wrote the name of a Disney character on each. We tore a loop off each day. As the trip got closer, the chain got shorter. A fun way for kids to visualize "How many days until we go to Disney World?!"

What an adorable idea! I love it!

By the way did you do a trip report? You're posts are fun to read and I bet you'd have a great TR to share!!!

There is a thread somewhere on DIS where she emailed me a chain with all the Disney characters, we started at 90 days and the chain was so long, now it is getting smaller everyday.:cool1:

Parkers*Momma wants me to do one too! If I were to do one, where do I post it? What thread?

Meanwhile... my house is just a disaster and we have no groceries!!! But a trip report - now that's something that sounds like more fun :rotfl2: I'll get right on it :lmao:

There's actually an entire board dedicated to pre-trip reports and trip report threads. I believe it's listed under the family board but I'm not sure.

Then, just put a link in your signature so others will be able to find yours.

Good luck!

So... my husband was laid off a week and a half ago and we have decided it will cost us more to cancel the trip than to go, so we're still on! We have our DVC points and the borrowed ones would be all but lost, our AP's are still good through this trip and then expire so going later in the year wouldn't be an option (not to mention it would be $90/ticket if we were to try and change our flights!) and our food money was set aside some time ago. So silly as it sounds here we go again, to WDW with no job! Luckily the lay-off is supposed to be (and I'm not holding my breath on that one!) temporary and we can hold our own for a couple of months before we start to panic. At this point to cancel the trip we would literally only get $167 back for our ASSp room, and then lose the airfare and points too, not to mention having our AP's expire.

Some great news though is that we got back $78 from our flights (long story) so that helps a ton, and I will also have about $75 in various rewards to cash in.

Anyway, the whole point of that story is that we are 51 days out now and I'm so excited I can't stand it. So I got or clothes all set to pack, I just need to finish mine tomorrow and put them in the suitcase. :D Anyone else pack as early as me?

Good morning swappers! :surfweb:

I can't believe it is Monday morning again. This time change is always harder on me the 2nd and 3rd day after it.

Ryan480 - I haven't put the clothes in the suitcases yet, because I know they will be wearing them before we go still; but, I do have what they are going to wear and when they are going to wear it in a clothing chart spreadsheet I made up. My DH looked over my shoulder one night when I was making this spreadsheet up and he declared that I had "offically lost it"! :rotfl:
