WOW! That was really fast! Glad RC 4 has been revived :yay: Although it brings a little tear to my eye since we bonded to the orig RC 4. My Handy DH is sobbing in the corner.:sad1:

up up up we go!

Nelep---that just means you will have to start planning again so you can bond with the new #4.

Now that's an idea!

Did I see correctly that RC#3 was available the last week of Sept? If so I would love to use it. Thanks in advance.

and how many miles is it to your nearest neighbor:rotfl2:

HAHAHA...she lives in the sticks like I do...just in another state.

we are about 1 1/2 hours apart BUT she is just down the road when I go to Hillsdale. A quick jog over a few miles. Shoot I'll be in three states that Saturday!!!

Good morning everyone! 3 days til I leave.:cool1: :cool1:

Can you tell I am ready to go???

The stroller was a life saver for us on our trip! My DH didn't think we'd need one. I told him I'd rather lug it around than hear my 5 year old complain all day long.

I had Bell Services transfer it to the resort where KayKyle'sMom was staying. I was going to bring it over myself, but the buses were not running very quickly and I didn't want to miss my ME ride to the airport. I sat for almost an hour and only 3 buses came by! We watched them load it up and take it, so I let her know it was on it's way. However, they could not find it when she went to get it! :scared1: She finally had to go back to the storage area and look for it. She found it! :thumbsup2 I have no clue why the people at Bell Services could not find it. :confused3

Does anyone know if Bell Services are around all night? Reason I'm asking is b/c the morning that we leave we plan to go to Chef Mickey for bkfst and then fly home around 2pm. I'm not sure (time-wise) how difficult it will be to get the bus from Poly to the AS resort for the next swapper and get the bus back to the Poly in time to get on ME. so I'm thinking maybe I could do it after we're done for the evening on the night before. :confused3

I'm SOOOO glad they found it. I need to stress though..PLEASE do not let Bell services transfer the stroller. And that is exactly the reason.

It is a really nice service WDW offers BUT over the years I have watched fridge swaps go down because of beel service. Stroller go missing because of bell services and here it the reason why.

You may tell them to transfer it to POP. Disney is HUGE in size...if bell services misunderstands, the tag falls off, etc. the stroller can end up at any of the resorts in luggage services or lost and found or the worse...central lost and found.

let's say the outgoing swapper leave bell services transfer the stroller.
So when the next swapper arrives...no stroller for them. I get a call saying the stroller is missing. First I will contact the outgoing swapper to see where it was left. then I start tracking the stroller. But where? I call the outgoing swappers resort to make sure it isn't still there and then I call the outgoing swappers lost and found to see if it is there. Mind you-bell services was suppose to transport it to the incoming swappers resort. Next I call the incoming swappers LS, then their lost and found. if it still isn't found, I call central lost and found and spend an hour on the phone. If it hasn't been turned in there...then I have to start calling each and every resorts LS and lost and found. Usually the stroller/fridge is never found.

OK...let's say the outgoing transfer the stroller themselves to the incoming swappers resort. the next swapper arrives and no stroller. I get a call saying the stroller is missing. I contact the outgoing swapper....yep she definitely left the stroller in luggage services at the incoming swappers resort and here is the claim ticket number XXXXXXXXXXXXX. all I have to do is call the incoming swappers resort and with a lil persistance and the Claim Ticket number...a lil begging for double checking and we have our stroller back. If they still can't find it...I call the manager at that resort and together he WILL find it because there is accountablity because we know for sure it was left there and we have that almighty claim ticket number.

SO please Please PLEASE...never use Disney's Bell Service transfer. ALWAYS take it to the next resort yourself. That way if it goes missing...you can personally say, "YES I LEFT IT AT THAT RESORT AND HERE IS THE CLAIM TICKET NUMBER"...trust me, I will hug you for it. It makes my job so much easier!

hahaha scarey thought itsn't it? A red head turning blue from all those phone calls. When #3 went missing...OMG...I called every person known to WDW trying to locate it. Nope...it was gone....and that wasn't even a bell service issue. I've seen so many fridges go missing and it is so sad not only for the swap host but for every swapper after them.

I guess that is why I'm such a stickler about NOT using bell services...I remember all to well what it was like trying to locate that stroller only to come up empty handed
