Royal carriage swap-#1 STROLLER-MISSING-FOUND-MISSING AGAIN

Called instep to get info about ordering a canopy and storage basket for #2. Got some good info that some of you may be interested in.

She quoted the canopy to be 29.95 but she that that price was probably incorrect since most of the canopies run between $10-$15. I asked about installation--how easy it would be. SHe said all you need is a phillips head to undo a few screws and the canopy would slide off the metal bar and the new one would slide on. (sounds almost too simple, but with a little pixie dust...)

The storage basket is $10 and I think it stalls the same way, screws and such. She said shipping was usally about $5 but I am betting more like $10 or $15.

I will definitely do at least one and replace it when I ge there. Any suggestions?
Note: Just to be clear, not asking for money, just suggesting parts.

I've never had to pay any more than $4.50 for shipping (fedex to me) from INSTEP. It's the shipping to Florida that was a killer...OUCH! Overnighting and two day was astronomical.

I'm like her, That sounds way to high for the canopy but I will check on it again, if you would like me to since I have to call them anyway.

The extra lil ones will be leaving around 8pm Wednesday. I love the kid but my oh my, how having extra children in the house uproots ones daily routine.

Yes, I shipped the axle and wheel and it is on RC#5 and is working perfectly.

I went ahead and ordered a storage basket and canopy for #2. I figured it was still cheaper to do that than rent the really uncomfortable expensive ones at WDW. (Saw a pic of the new ones, they look terrible.) So after the 1st of June, #2 will also have a new canopy and storage basket. Yea!
THis is great example of how future swapper could handle the replacement of parts. Take a survey or stay updated about their stroller, and then order the parts in plenty of time to receive them at their home, take them to WDW, and replace the parts when you get there.
Surely you can travel with a phillips head screwdriver in your checked luggage. I havent travelled in a while.

The good for me news is that we found out that I am expecting our third child yesterday! It is quite the miracle and we are pretty over the moon about it!

#1 perfect in practically everyway-THANK YOU RYAN 840 for donating Rain cover and mommy hooks plus installing seat. THANK YOU PAYTONBEAR2007 for donating the fan!
#2 replaced seat and rain cover-THANK YOU RYAN 840 for donating Rain cover and mommy hooks plus installing seat.
New basket and canopy-THANK YOU princesses&pirates for donating it!
#4 replaced new seat and fixed hasp-THANK YOU Couturier for installing the seat and repairing the haspe



Now for issues:
#1...still needs the handle cover redone. Foam tape is MIA so if someone would like to bring that down and re-wrap the handle that would be awesome!
#2-defective seat and working on getting it replaced for free with INSTEP. Yep the new seat tore in the middle as soon as it was replaced. It seems when it was sewn, the material was only caught on by 1/8" and immediately broke loose as soon as Ryan put her lil ones in it. As soon as I can get all the details worked out, I will need another volunteer to install the new seat. This stroller also needs the handle re-wrapped. If someone would like to donate the foam tape-again the package I sent down went MIA.

#3- front tire is only lasting about a day. Could someone please donate and take a can of fix-a-flat and take it with them until the new tire gets here.

#4- Front tire issues and still waiting on replacement. That will be one of the issues I address tomorrow when I talk to them.

#5-NO ISSUES


As for accessories:
#1 sunshade, fix a flat, tire pump, rain cover, fan, and mommy hook
#2 rain cover and mommy hook
#3 Nothing
#4 Nothing
#5 sunshade and rain cover

I am not part of #3, but just a suggestion. Could someone with #1 meet up with #3 and borrow the can of fix-a-flat? Logistically , who knows, but it might be easier than an alternative. Good luck!

I am three weeks out on #2. If that is the time frame that fits replacing the seat on #2, let me know. I can replace everything but the structure itself. But if it gets fixed earlier than that, it would be a blessing. My 10 month old butterball would slip down into the new storage basket!!

Hello, I will be staying at Pop Century on May 23rd - May 30th. I was signed up for another stroller swap for the last six months and now that our trip is just 2 weeks away apparently the stroller can't be found. So now I'm desperately trying to find one for our trip. Would #4 or #5 or any other ones be available any of that week?
It looked like number 4 may be available the 25th-30th. If it is I would love to find out more. Sorry to have to be asking last minute. But I really would appreciate all your help!!!!!
