You know it's a sign of growing old when you can't remember what you did yesterday .......
I did fix some eggs, pancakes, and smoked sausage for breakfast yesterday and DW pushed through some laundry. The Fort (at least in our loop) really cleared out on Sunday but we did have
@jbrostek and
@Part-Time Paradise roll in around us and set up so our corner of the neighborhood is good.
We went to church then stopped at the grocery on the way back to supplement what we have to get us through the rest of our stay. Didn't get to eat lunch till 2pm after which we went for a nice bike ride around the Fort, stopping at the Meadows Trading Post first.
I did my annual beer price check and a 6 pack of Bud is the same price as it was in January 2024 when we were here last, $17.75.
They have the spare tire covers in stock both Large and Small sizes for $80.
Next on our bike ride we went by
@MrsPAHunter ,
@JETS70 ,
@BenitaN ,
@Bishoparc , and
@Disneypeach campsites and EVERYONE was gone (having a good time I guess). Guess they knew we were coming.
2600 loop has had the legacy cabins pulled off and scrap debris piles remain. It's not a good look temporarily.
Dinner was at the Grand Floridan which was looking great.
The Gingerbread House was already put together in the lobby.
And we saw the pianist playing.
This morning
@Sjm9911 ,
@jbrostek , and
@4077 puzzled (it's a verb) with me and we got the movie film part mostly done.
Putt putt coming up before lunch and then making the deviled eggs this afternoon.
Beautiful day here at the Fort.
