Our last official Fort meetup was in October of 2020 and this year's meet has been in planning for a little of 2 years. I know all of us are very much looking forward to this and hope it's a great trip for everyone. This "post 1" will be kept updated with any updates/changes to plans. Feel free to use this thread to post your trip report items as well for the meet. Even if you weren't a part of the planning thread and just happen to be at the Fort during this time, come on by!

Please let me know if your username is missing from the list. We will have nametags printed with usernames that you can write your actual name on at the Potluck.

A few things, and I'll post some pictures later. We killed it today at the parks. It started off great and ended great. With a few hiccups in between. We got up early to RD MK. So got to the dock at 640 and figured on a 7 am departure. Nope, we had our own boat that took the 3 of us in at 640. We were like 10th in line for initial buzz in. We bought the new LL thing and had 3 for like 930 am. Very little lines because it was a party day, so we did, 7dmt, PPF, Small world, Poo, haunted mansion, thunder mt, Tianna, tron, buzz, pirates, Jungle cruise, tiki room , and the flying carpets. Headed back at 1230 to the campsite, napped, ordered out the family fired chicken and hit up HS for tot, RNR and micky and Minnie RR.
The bad part is I think I atually broke a rib on tron, or tore something. Lol. It is not for tall people. If it wasn't for that we would have done space also. Just back a little while ago and we are beat!

Been looking forward to it for a while. Sadly many of you won't get to meet my super supportive DW. Her flight arrives after midnight Satruday the 9th, and a good chance we won't see any of you early birds hitting the road.

23 hours to launch, nothing major just replacing 2 leaky (ok all) injector lines. Cart and car in trailer, will hook up tomorrow when DW at work and be rolling by7pm

Don- I tried adding garneska and when I called, the CM initially tried to charge me $100 more. When I questioned the extra charge, since I was well below the 10 person max, I was transferred to guest services who said between now and Thanksgiving (approximately), no changes could be made to an existing reservation. I think the extra $100 I was originally quoted was the reservation CM cancelling and rebooking, at the current rate.

In short, since the meet is after Halloween, I suspect just giving our name and site number may work. If not, you have my cell number. Give me a call and I can meet you up front.

I added my brother at check in for halloween. Told them that I was kicked so many times and forgot to add him. It was the truth. If you do it on check in before they finish it , it can be done. No added $$$. They even gave me a parking pass for him and a card to get in through the gate, as halloween lock down is real .

The CM checking me in said all us full sites are together in the corner near the loop entrance.

Back in overflow lot for some breakfast and a nap till the text comes.

Overflow lot is kinda empty. All the cargo trailers normally stashed here for Halloween must be at Riverside.

I don't think I've ever seen the overflow that empty. Guessing it will fill up in the next day or so for the RunDisney crowd. Let us know where you end up.

I was planning on coming in early Saturday morning, but it sounds like everyone is waiting for their site to open up. I may sleep in and shoot for late morning.
