**** In order to remain in this swap, I do need everyone to follow the rules. Let me know ahead of time if you are going to be away, check in weekly, post as you send off your letters, and post as soon as they are received so that no one worries....... Throughout the rounds, I have had to add in new rules since it seems like I am always having to be reminding, or going over the rules.... the rules are stated in the sign up. If there are any new rules, I post about it...which I do ask everyone to check on the threads every couple or few days, and scan through the post to see if I had posted something, or maybe another participant. I also post hints, or let everyone know the topic, and twist via posts or pms. This is my way to know if everyone is following along. If I get a pm saying you did not see it, was it mentioned.... that is my hint that you did not follow through. I myself is human, and makes mistakes, miss posts.... I like everyone else has a real life to tend to....so in order to continue with these letter swaps, I need EVERYONE...to follow through. If you feel that you are not able to continue on with that committment, please let me know asap. There are been participants in the past whose pen pals just dissappeared, have not been following the rules.... and it is not fair for them, or myself.

My letters are ready. I''m having a hard time with the twist this time. Perhaps I'm overthinking it...

Here are some suggestions-

*Biscuit or muffin mix-your pen pal could make them for their holiday breakfast, or meal.
*Jam or jelly to add to those rolls during Thanksgiving or Christmas.
*Say if there is a type of nut such as pecans that are popular in your state, feel free to send those. Your pen pal will be able to use them in pies or cookies for the holidays.
*Sweets-you could send them a box of chocolates that they could share with their guests for dessert as they gather together.
*Something unique from your area that is edible or drinkable!

Yes, send your letter, AND twist TOGETHER, then post here on the thread so that I can keep track of all mailings. And once you receive your letter, and twist from your pen pal post here as well, and tell us what goodies you received each month.

The mail by deadline is the second SUNDAY of each month. So, if your post office is closed on Sundays, then mail it out by that Saturday. So the first mailing is to be sent out by November 13. I had given everyone alot of time this round.

I received my first letter today from mommytotwo. For the twist I got Lilikoi Passion powder drink mix. It sounds great and I can't wait to try it. Thank you mommytotwo, it was a very nice letter and a perfect twist for me.
