I really like tonight’s episode—best one yet in my opinion. David and Darlene was both funny and poignant. Grocery store scene was great and the scenes with Bev were LOL funny.

I didn't like that Dan wouldn’t let David see his kids though—I don’t think that was his call.

It was weird to Darlene be so cling with David it was usually the other was around. It was weird to me he didn't even see Mark since the kids are the reason he came back to town lol. It was great to Beverly she didn't skip a beat she was a great as always.

Esetelle Parsons is 90, I was quite surprised at how great she looked! Funny as ever.

He was her first (only) love, together since they were kids and now they have kids. I think they played it right, he was always her security in the midst of being a Conner. I liked that it was Becky who pointed out it wasn’t ever sunshine and roses with them.

I even thought that was funny in an outrageous kind of way—which is generally how that character (and maybe even the actress herself) is. Even her justification (starting salary the price of bacon or something like that) was LOL for me. But still crazy. Plus involving her granddaughter—even more crazy, but it was clear it was routine for them and that is Roseanne.

Bev looks exactly the same to me! And what a naughty granny! Hahahaaaaa.. remember the 'Craftmatic Adjustable Bev' episode? She's loosened up, huh?!? lol

I almost cried when David asked Darlene what Mark was like. How sad that he doesn't know.

OMG I loved that part. Is it wrong to do that? Absolutely. Is it something Roseanne totally do? Absolutely. She is crass, off color, crazy, obnoxious and crude. Yup totally something she would do. Involving the granddaughter was also funny. When she went "beeeeeep" Then Roseanne looked at Darlene and said, "What? I heard a beep." I don't think you could do that anyway. All the self checkouts I have been through have a camera on you watching your every move. It was just for TV.


Off topic-ONce I was reading an article on how to eat organic on a budget. One of the "tips" was to go through the self checkout like with your organic apples and when you choose the item, it said to choose regular apples as the price icon and nobody would know you got organic apples for regular apples price.

I was impressed with Estelle Parsons. I can't believe she is 90, she didn't miss a beat in saying her lines, still funny.

Just watched the last 2 episodes.

Gah the Becky egg issue that was so sad. But there was a good conversation with Darlene and Becky afterwards and I liked how Roseanne comforted her letting her know not all may be lost. The dog was too cute too.

The grocery store bit was funny to me-now stealing isn't good so I wouldn't advocate for that but seriously my mom feels exactly the same way about self-checkout. Her reluctance and many times outright refusal to use self-check out is "they don't pay me to do that, I'm not an employee". My husband and I have no problem using self-checkout (we actually prefer it). My mom will tell me every now and then about her local Walmart which will announce "there's no waiting for self-checkout" to which my mom replies "no thanks I don't get paid for that". Now my mom isn't snobby or anything like that she just doesn't want to use self-checkout and is annoyed that at her local store they push for it. I usually shake my head at my mom, I get her viewpoint I just don't share it lol.

While a tad rushed (I mean they only have less than 30mins so I get it) I thought it was nice to show how hard it could be to realize the one you were with just won't work out. I've seen people carry on these on and off again relationships and normally it's a "not gonna work" type situation but there's a lot of going back and forth on it;I can imagine how it must feel that your estranged husband has met someone just when you thought he would never truly be out of the romantic picture aspect. I do get Dan's viewpoint about not seeing the kids as it appears David has been a wishy washy dad as far as being there but I do understand how it looks to have him tell David rather than Darlene.

I think the mom coming back was funny. No one I think likes to really think about their parent's sex life..at any age lol.

Still really enjoying the show, looking forward to the next episode.

I liked the exchange with Jackie and Bev near the end when the mom was going jump out the window. Even though her moms makes her nuts, it showed she really does love Bev

I kept thinking the same thing. She is so spry!

I enjoyed seeing Crystal and Nancy. I’d been wondering if we’d see Crystal since she was a long time regular.

I am a huge Roseanne fan, so it's neat seeing all the characters again, 20 years older. Roseanne and Jackie at 60 years old?? But I don't like what they did with David's character. I know he's busy with other projects so he probably can't be on the show much, but 1997 David would never have abandoned his child like that. It made me sad.
