Well shoot. I overlooked a lot (her political views, her racism and her antisemitism) because I enjoyed the show. It really spoke about living paycheck to paycheck in America and the things that people need to do to make ends meet in a real way. While, at the same time, being funny. It's a real shame that Roseanne Barr couldn't contain herself. It's a shame she couldn't stop her self destruction, instead yesterday saying racist and anti Muslim things, attack Chelsea Clinton and spread debunked antisemitic conspiracy theories. It's a shame that all the other actors on the show are now left in a lurch because she had to run her big mouth. It's a shame that the show was cancelled. All of that shame is on Roseanne's shoulders. She screwed up big time. So much for her personal and professional re-boot.

Do you think ABC made her tweet calling a black woman an ape? Or did they hack her account and tweet it out without her knowing? Or are you not bothered by what she said?

Couldn't have happened to a nicer person. They could have just killed off her character, but then she would still be getting royalties and profits from having been a producer. I feel bad for the people who are now out of jobs, but ABC made the right call here. We have to draw the line somewhere, egregious racism like this shouldn't be a right or left issue, it's just wrong no matter how you vote.

I feel bad for the rest of the cast and crew who are now finding themselves out of work. Her crude comments are inexcusable and affect more than just her self. One cannot just put those things out for all to see and expect no repercussion (although some do get away with it...).

That stinks, I really liked the show. I can't believe she tweeted that. It's absolutely shocking. I feel so very bad for the actors, writers and workers who came back and poured their heart and soul into the show. They did a great job, now it's all ruined. Why on earth would she do that? I can't wrap my head around it. She has always been outspoken and kind of a wild card, but this is way over the top. Just awful.

I think what she said was beyond awful. I find it ridiculous though that we hold entertainers to a higher standard than some other people.

Even before her comments were racist, I had a feeling her mouth would do her in. I feel bad for the cast and crew who worked so hard to pull off this show. She should have known better and realized how many people's jobs depended on her. For some reason, I'm thinking about that "awful liberal" Jon Bon Jovi being asked about why he's become such a health nut. He stated "we have a huge overhead every night and a staff of 150, if I get sick...I don't want to think about it".
