Rooms at the Poly near the elevators

Is the noise from the elevators and ice machines bad enough to stay away from those rooms if possible?

I always request far from vending and elevator. On our last visit at Poly we were right next to the elevator. It was the quietest hotel room we've ever had! Idk name of building, third floor of the one that looks over luau area. We had a great view.
