Room size at WL

I am booked there in July, but have read on here that many of you have complained about the room sizes. We are used to the rooms at the Contemporary and Poly, and don't want to be too cramped during our 10 night stay. There will be four of us, including DS 8 and DS 15, and although we won't be spending lots of time in the room, we want to be comfortable! So I would appreciate the opinions of those of you who have stayed in all of the above and can give me a comparison. Are WL rooms larger than the Moderate rooms? Any help would be appreciated!

The CR and Poly have the largest rooms on property about 440 dq ft, with the rooms at the WL being around 340 sq ft. That's a 100 sq ft difference, which is about the size of a 10x10 room. The rooms are MUCH smaller, and could feel cramped to you since you're used to larger rooms. Hey, the rooms at YC (390 sq ft) felt cramped to me after the Poly!!! The rooms at POR, POFQ and CSR are 314 sq ft and the rooms at CBR are 340 sq ft, the same size as the WL rooms. The WL rooms also feel more cramped than a CBR room, since CBR has full-size beds and WL had queens.

Definietly a big difference in the room size from the Poly to WL. I love the WL but would much prefer the room size of the Poly. I think WL and AKL have the smallest rooms of all deluxes. I don't want to steer you away from the WL because I think you would love the resort, however, with kids the age of yours and enough stuff for 10 days, you may very well be a little uncomfortable.
