Room requests for ALK and BLT

Hello all.

We're staying at ALK Jambo in a standard studio and then at BLT in a standard studio. Any advice on room requests? We're no super picky but I'm curious if anyone has tips we should know.

That's kind of like asking "what's the best color?" What are your preferences? Do you want a certain view? Would you prefer to be close to certain features?

As to AKL Jambo, standard view consists of rooms that have either a view of the pool area or partial savanna view, the latter resulting from a number of savanna view rooms that were converted to standard four years ago. A request that could result in getting a partial savanna view is "along Kudo Trail." That is the left side of the U-shaped building and the only standards on that side are ones converted from savanna view.

True! Sorry I was not more specific. I'm not really sure what to expect at either resort. We would prefer something with a decent view and not looking at the back of dumpsters or air conditioning units, lol! At Jambo, perhaps partial savanna. At BLT, something that may have a side view of the lake or MK. But I'm not getting my hopes up too high.

Your best bet is probably to request an "even numbered" room. That should get you a view of the lake or Magic Kingdom. Just remember that all standard view rooms are on the lower floors.
