My boyfriend and I are booked at Port Orleans French Quarter with a king-sized bed. I was planning to send a fax along to the hotel with a request for a particular room or building. Any recommendations?

My husband and I were in room 2223 in January. It was not river-view out the front window, but when you walked out the door and looked to the left, you could see the river. It was close to the stairs but we never heard any noise *at all* and it was so convenient to walk out of our room and down the stairs. It was a corner room so we had two windows and they let in a lot of light and made the room feel larger. The dock for the launch to DTD was around the back side of our building (#5, I think). It was a 5-minute walk to the main building/food court/gift shop/bus stop.

The parking lot was a bit of a walk, but we park the car, unload it, and rarely use it duing our trips. On this particular quick trip the car never moved from its spot.

Here are a couple of pictures from our room:

Have fun!

We stayed in Bldg. 5, third floor, corner room, and a lovely view of a courtyard. We are staying there again in 2009. For my room requests, I have Bldg. 5 or 4, third floor, and nice view.

We are booked in a standard room.
