Room Rate

HI all you WONDERFUL DIS--ers,,, I was wondering if maybe one of you could tell me why........Reservations won"t change my rate,,,,see before I knew there was a Florida/Pass Holder rate (POSTED ON THE DISNEY WEB SITE) I booked my room for the OPENING day at PC...now I read that people got in on opening day for the $49 dollar code rate..I was put in the preferred building (I did not ask for this but thats fine) so I am paying $87 a night....I called back and was told ,,,sorry we have nothing availible for that rate,,,it says from 11/02-12/26......maybe I am asking the WRONG WAY or things,,,,any info will be great---THANKS

They only have a limited number of rooms at certain prices. When they are sold out there aren't any more available even if there is rooms empty at that resort. The best advice is to keep checking before you go to WDW.
