Room Only Discounts This Week

Assuming the rumor is true and the Room Only Discount rates come out on the 11th... anyone know if this happens at midnight or not until start of business day on 11th... I know what I'm looking for and don't want to miss it!!

Room discounts for Oct/Nov 2012 are rumored to come out in another 2-4 weeks.

Well... I check every day anyway! But I know 2013 rack rates are coming out this week from what everyone is saying here... 11th I believe... I'll probably check for 2012 discounts just to be on the safe side... I booked room only for Oct/Nov 2012 today because I didn't want to wait too long and then have my choices be gone... but they said just to call back when/if discounts come out and they will adjust rate!

The 2013 resort packages rates and dining plan prices will be released on Wednesday, July 11. The general public free dining promo/discount will be released on Thursday, July 12. The fall/winter room only discounts are supposed to be released in the next 2 to 3 weeks and AP rates shortly after that.

Is there an AP discount out for Sept that I missed? or will early Sept dates be included in the fall/winter promo? I need Sept 1st-8th and also Oct 27th-Nov 4th. I currently have those dates booked with a bounceback I used when I was there last Dec, but am hoping an AP rate beats what I already have.

We are hoping for late summer/early fall AP rates sometime this week as well. Probably matching the dates of the GP code which is out now: August 15th-September 30
It's frustrating waiting, but we are hoping any day now

No there is no Sep. AP discount out yet.

Historically, the next round of AP discount will go thru 10/3. But nothing's been as it was last year, so who knows! I need room only for later in October so it looks like I'll be waiting another month or so.

From what I understand you can book a room 499 days in advance. So what makes tomorrow any different than calling when I did, or for that matter, back on day 499?

I'm just debating that if the rates are less tomorrow (which I doubt) then I call back and make a new reservation.

Otherwise, I'll just wait until closer to our travel dates and hope for AP or other discounts.

Yes we're discussing room only DISCOUNTS, not the ability to make a reservation. You can make a ressie 499 days outs, but rumor has it the GP room only discount will be released shortly, possibly tomorrow. As well as the AP room only discount. It's all speculation, we're just all really hoping it happens!

But it won't help you for next year - the discounts are only released for dates into the future by about 2-3 months. You'll have to wait until next spring/early summer to check for room only discounts for your reservation.

I got 40% off at Poly & BCV when I booked last fall for early spring 2012- it was called Early AP Booking & you only had about the 1st 2 weeks to book it, then it went down to 30-35% off for the same dates. That was the last I've seen AP discounts that high. This spring we only got 25% off BC CL.

Boy, that would be nice to get 35-40% off at the Poly for our November trip. I would rather have that -or even 20% off- for our trip than free dining.
