Hello!
We just returned from WDW and stayed at POR. In the past we have stayed at Coronado, POFQ, ASSp (2) and have always had to endure the noise of the toilets throughout the evening but particularly in the early morning. (We're not early risers!)
We are returning in November. Have we just had bad luck or should we be requesting specific floors to avoid this noise?
We are planning to stay at the ASMu. Should I just bring ear plugs?
Thanks!

We solved the problem by vowing to never stay there again. It didn't matter what floor we were on (we asked to be moved to a higher floor...didn't help). No way do I ever want to hear the sound of someone else in another room pottying again! It was gross!!!
We have stayed there twice. The 1st time was last Nov., and the resort was empty...we didn't hear anything, but, then again, the rooms next to us seemed to be empty...maybe the rooms above us were empty as well. We loved the resort (it's so pretty!), so we decided to stay there again for 2 nights this Feb. The resort was pretty full on that trip, and boy could we hear the pottying/toilets! It was BAD! They need to put some soundproofing in that resort. To hear the turbo-toilets is one thing, but to actually hear people using the turbo toilets is quite another
As beautiful as the AKL is, we will never stay there again because of this. Hopefully you are going during a not-busy time, so you may not have this problem.
Don't get me wrong, I would sacrafice my ear drums & do it again, anytime!!
Now, the next time I go, I'll probably be constantly thinking about it!
