Room Location Recommendations @ OKW

My wife and I just became members of the DVC and have our home at OKW. We plan to visit the last week in August and are looking for some opinions on the best locations; i.e building nos, floor, etc. Our point allotment this year only allows for a stay in a studio and we will be using Disney transportation. Thanks for everyone's insight.

WELCOME HOME and WELCOME TO THE DIS. While I haven't stayed in any BAD locations, what are your preferences? Are you driving or relying on WDW busses? If driving, I usually try to avoid Bldg 20, 51 and 52 as those are bus turn around areas and the parking can be tight for a large car or SUV. IF you're relying on bus transport, I'd recommend an area near the Peninsular Road stop, it is the first stop on the resort route. Will yoube going to the hospitality/restaurant/main pool area a lot? Request to be near Hospitality. It all depends on your priorities.

the views are golf, water, and woods. I generally ask for a water view (not pool view), near the bus stop, non-smoking.

I don't like pool view (they can be noisy), and next to the bus stop is too close to the bus (it can be noisy).

I am not into golf, but I love OKW water views (they have several different ones).

I would also like to know a good location. We stayed at OKW last summer and was at the turtle pond area. This year we are staying in a 2 bedroom and realy dont know what area to request. Also we will be using Disney buses.

We really like building 23. we had a 2 BR with a view of the water and gof course. It is close enough to walk to the main pool area. This is also the first bus stop, which is great on coming back from the parks.
