I have planned a five night trip with my 21 year old son for August. He has asked his college roommate to come too. What room would be comfortable for three adults to each have their own bed? I have a room at Yacht Club booked, when it was just my son & I. I was going to switch to Grand Floridian because the room is the largest but we are planning to spend more time in Epcot then any other resort. There is a club level at Beach club available but they told me the room would only have two queens, is that accurate? There is a room at Contemporary available too.

Since you are club level, email signature services requesting a room with two queens and a day bed. My family did that in February under a similar situation, three guests on the reservation but wanting three sleeping surfaces. Signature made it happen.

I would not book club level at the Beach Club if you want a daybed. There are a lot of rooms with the dormer balcony and those rooms are too small for a daybed. There are more rooms at the YC that have the daybed, since they don't have dormer balconies.

Sorry I was not clear in my original post - the room I have booked at yacht club is a regular room, resort view. The room that is available at Beach Club is club level but they told me that the room wouldn't have three sleeping surfaces. I think that I can keep my Yacht club room and that I can request two queens and a daybed but I am wondering if I should switch to Grand Floridian or Contemporary for the larger room.

If I change my reservation at Yacht Club to request two queens and a daybed do you think that room is fine for three adults. I know that my son and his friend would love the pool and I the easy access to Epcot. Since they are both 21 they are looking forward to the Food and Wine Festival.

The room will be great for three adults with the daybed. We have a family of five and fit just fine with three teens. :)

It’s too early for them to know what room you would be assigned at BC so that was false information. Disney Guest Services phone reps are absolutely notorious for that and they always sound confident in their bad info. They most likely saw “max 4 person” occupancy and assumed there were no daybeds- wrong. You can absolutely request a 2Q + daybed room at BC CL. They only dropped the occupancy levels on those rooms to ease crowding in the Clubs.

So, the great part about CL at YC or BC is the rooms are limited to 4 people- you will never be competing with a party of 5. Non-CL rooms allow up to 5 people and parties of 5 are automatically given priority for day bed rooms over all other parties.

CL would be a serious draw for me if I was paying for some of the food for 2, 21’s lol. They also have free beer, wine & cordials so you can grab a drink on your way to the pool. I also like the idea of no parties of 5 competing with me so anyone with that request is on a level playing field. As far as in room experience goes having the club level to get away from the room for a snack or a break provides my fam with what mentally feels like a large extension of the room. We never chill in the room then, we sleep there & shower there. When waiting for each other to get ready to head back out to do stuff we’ll wait at the club and graze 😝

Art of Animation or the All Star Music family suites are the most reasonably priced rooms that have 3 decent-sized beds.

Beach Club offers a deluxe room category with 2 queens plus a sleeper sofa. I don't believe they are club level, just a larger room.

The Polynesian has several view categories which guarantee a day bed, including DVC studios, and you can walk directly to the Epcot monorail.

The CL was a serious draw for me because of two 21yo's! lol
In the past I have stayed CL and I knew about the free beer/wine, plus the snacks, etc... I figured if I could get into a club level room it would be helpful!
Checking Disney World this morning there are no rooms at Yacht Club or Beach Club showing with the Disney Visa code. Wonder if I just check daily and someone will cancel.

You never know! I’ve had success with that method on multiple trips. Last Nov I hunted daily for a discounted 1 bedroom at RIV for months and then like a week before the trip one popped up! I was definitely giving up hope.

I just want to throw another idea at you. I took my DS and his bestie from high school to WDW for spring break last year. They were sophomores in college then. I would not have felt comfortable sleeping in the same room as DS's bestie (even though I've known him since the boys were in second grade), and I wanted two bathrooms. So, I booked two rooms at Pop Century. The guys were in one room, and I had the other room. It was great! The guys were able to come and go and do their own thing. They each had a queen bed and their own bathroom, and I had my own room/bed/bathroom. We were able to use the Skyliner to easily access both HS and EP. It was terrific!

Just another thought. I hope you have a magical trip!
