Anyone ever stayed here? How is room(location, size, noise),it's next to cat. 1 room,so I'm assuming it's a good location, we will be staying in this room Oct 27th-Oct 31st. Last time on ship we had a cat. 6 room.Is there that much more room, and how does the Murphy bed work, is it in the wall, or is like a roll-away that they bring in?If anyone from DCL is watching, we wouldn't mind an upgrade to cat. 3:teeth: :teeth::teeth: :teeth:

We were in 8012 on 9/7 & thought it was a great location.
The murphy bed pulls down from the wall - keep in mind that when it is down, you need to climb over it to get to the verandah and that it blocks access to the locker unless your cabin steward opens the doors to it before they pull down the bed.

we were also in 8012 in January, and we thought it was a very good location. It was pretty quiet, except once in a while in the mornings we could hear what sounded like chairs scraping the floor. Not sure what that was all about. The rooms are located under the spa if i remember correctly.

We did run in to the Captain several times because this is the hallway that they use sometimes to get to the bridge, and also it was very close to the elevators. We really liked this location.

My family had rooms 8010, 8012, and 8014. All were family rooms. We thought that they worked out great! The previous year we had been on the opposite side and it did seem to be a bit quieter, but nothing that was a major distraction. The best thing about it is being so close to the adult pool and spa. Heaven!
