Romney is endorsing McCain

This afternoon's endorsement is a good thing for both Mitt and McCain -- but I'd be surprised the Mitt became the VP candidate -- McCain really doesn't like him, and I think that McCain is a man of strong convictions.

I would guess he'd nominate a VP that has a more conservative reputation than him - but perhaps without the negatives. But I think someone like J.C. Watts, who's national "baggage" is not prominent, might be spun as a "token" and backfire. Not sure he can afford an "unknown" either. Should be entertaining.

I just heard the endorsement and while I would love to imagine a McCain/Romney ticket, I didn't "feel the love". I hope that I heard wrong. The words were there, just not the enthusiasm.
