That's the understatement of the year and Bobo the chimp would be a better choice than Huckabee.


Mitt would be a good choice for McCain and a solid VP. Part of me really likes the business background of Mitt Romeny. He seems to have a good track record in that area. I'll leave the negative stuff about him for others to say because I really don't have too many issues with him.

But don't forget he implemented mandatory healthcare in Massachusetts, and it's not exactly cheap. Mitt has sort of flip flopped on some major issues since he was elected and during his term (and I voted for him for governor)... he would be (unfortunately) the king of Flip Flopper's should it all be brought out.... But he's a good man.... Good family...

I'll agree that Romney has done well for himself as a businessman and might help McCain with his admitted weakness on economic issues.

OK, I just couldn't resist (because it really is funny-and sad at the same time), however, either McCain and/or Mitt is only about 100X smarter and more articulate than Bobo. I do not like either of them, but can't bring myself to despise them quite to that level. Either one would be a vast improvement in oratory as well as substance. Now Huckabee really does scare me.

It was funny, but that kind of thing only feeds the other side. I'll respect the office even if I can't respect the occupant. I want to see that same respect when Obama or Hillary are in office in 2009, so I have to give it now.
