Romantic dinner suggestions

You probably wouldn’t want to go to Artist Point now in any case, since it is not the same operation at all. It changed to Story Book Dining with Snow White.

I echo the Jiko suggestion. I think many of the families dining at AKL choose the Boma buffet rather than the Jiko signature dining experience. Food and service at Jiko has always been excellent.
I guess I wouldn't. Artist Point was perfect before. Jiko IS excellent; never done Boma.

Agree with Yachtsman and with Cali Grill. Yachtsman gives off a more romantic vibe to me, and Cali Grill is more trendy and louder (but the view is awesome).

Coronado Springs' Maya Grill gets my vote, though. It tends to be much quieter, has a soothing atmosphere, and has great food. Not sure if the nice classical guitar music has returned, but it was terrific and not so loud as to disturb the mood.
I've never been to Coronado Springs, so I'll need to check it out. Thanks.

Boma has delicious food but it's VERY loud since it's open to the lobby at AK and Victoria Falls. You get all the traffic from people going to and from the pool too.

Ya...that noise though. That would be the deciding factor of not going. Great tip; thanks.

No restaurant at Disney will be kids free except for Victoria and Albert’s which hasn’t reopened (they do allow 10 and up though) California grill will get you good food and a view of fireworks.

Our favorites would include Jiko, YSH, Flying Fish, Citrico. Absent from our list would be Narcoossee (good food, but not terribly romantic), CG (not so good food or service, high price, relies on the view to attract people), Artist Point (no longer the nice quiet restaurant you may remember), 'Ohana (just a raucous place with blah food),

Another vote for Jiko - I've never been disappointed there. Another that I've not seen on this thread - Bull and Bear at the Waldorf. I've not dined there but I've never heard a bad review of it.

Bull & Bear is really, really good. We go every couple of months. I'd second this recommendation, and would actually put it at the top of the list. Technically not on Disney property, but so close it may as well be.

JIKO's at AKL...greatest chance of a more quiet experience
California Grill at CR if you can get the fireworks reservation
Flying Fish on the Boardwalk
IL Mulino at the Swan

Toledo at Coronado Springs. We loved it, it's a lovely restaurant and the food is excellent.

Good choice! Love the view from up there. Its especially nice if you time your visit so that you can watch the sun go down and enjoy the lights of the parks. Food is very good too!

Space 220 if you can get it. It’s one of the few Disney restaurants where you don’t have to shout to hear each other. IMO a restaurant where you’d can’t have a nice conversation and where they’re trying to encourage you to hurry up and leave is not romantic, and that eliminates the majority of Disney restaurants.

The obvious choice, price not being a consideration, is Victoria and Alberts. We have dined there multiple time and still is one of the best meals anywhere.
Otherwise, we love California Grill, Topolinos, Jiko and Flying Fish.
I would also add Jaleo, but it is much louder and not really romantic, but amazing food.

I vote for Flying Fish. It actually has a "nice restaurant" vibe, and (in my experience) there usually aren't a lot of kids there.
