We are planning to have a nice, romantic dinner at Epcot next week.

First things first... Le Cellier is OUT. My DH would never go for that! I was thinking San Angel Inn... is it good?

Why wouldn't your DH go for Le Cellier? Just curious. It's probably got some of the plainest food at Epcot. Anyplace else is liable to be more challenging for picky eaters.

What sorts of things do you like to eat? What don't you like?

San Angel Inn was my first thought. I would definitely go with it. I would highly recommend staying away from California Grill if anyone suggests it. I don't consider myself a picky eater, but I wasn't happy with the selection there, however that was a few years ago.

My vote is San Angel Inn. :lovestruc

romantic.......how about one of the french restaurants? the bistro is great. or, the rose and crown. if you are willing to wait you might be able to snag a table on the patio for illuminations. and why not le cellier??:yay:

Chef's de France has very good food and if you go in the off hours it won't be as loud either.

I have not read any reviews on the new San Angel, atmosphere is wonderful but the food was not so good before. I recommend getting some reviews.

If you are willing to leave the park for a bit I recommend todd english bluezoo at the S/D. Or ( without knowing why Le Cellier is out - I recommend the next one with caution ) Yachtsman Steakhouse. The atmosphere is relaxed and romantic.

I think Lynne is right-Le Cellier has pretty "plain" food. But I'd hardly call it romantic. Bistro is the most romantic Epcot spot, but not suitable for picky eaters.
San Angel is often noisy and crowded--and the food not of the steak and potato variety.

Seems to me a picky eater would prefer plain meats and potato type foods. I would guess all the steakhouses would work - I hear Yachtsman's is good, not sure about the romance factor. San Angel Inn is not romantic. It's dark, and loud and crowded. What about a quiet restaurant at a resort, not a park?
