Dreams,

That was just too funny about twisting your knee! Hope you're okay!!

Jiminy,

Weren't you suppose to find out about your knee problems? Any good news?

Looking at my own knee, I'm wondering if it is possible for one's knee to explode?

I feel left out. Two postings from Disney Dudette #3:eek: I can't believe it! For Joyce to even be on the computer is amazing.
The Dudettes want to be at the Party in Denver
:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc so you better sit our picture at the table.

Bonnie is absolutely correct when she says we are the early to bed, early to rise type. Joyce & I leave for work at 6:00 AM and I get up before 5:00 AM so by 9:00 PM I am dead. We have made a vow to stay up LATE on the cruise.

REMEMBER! Healthy (no bronchitis Dudette #1), healing and accident free:bounce:

Looking at Garry's knee it sorta looks like a large cantalope! Sure hope it goes down. If not, we will all stop in at the promenade loung to say hi. He'll be there drinking our two for one drinks HAHA! Everyone stay healthy! Any Fed Ex men sightings?

I just looked to see how many posts we have and I saw that we were only 4 posts behind to tie Oct 12. cruisers. Come on everyone, let's pass 'em and show them who the true DIS cruisers are. (you don't count as an Oct.12 cruiser Denine - you're still one of us even if you are on THAT cruise too. ha ha)

23 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm In!!

Although I still have not figured out how you guys
can see how many posts we have. I'll do my part.

Wooo Hoooo were going on a cruise!!!

Barb

Just trying to do my part to keep the posts a-coming.
Don't worry when Bonnie alias Disney Dudette #1 gets home the post total will grow:p Maybe even another post from Disney Dudette #3. Who knows:confused:

And remember - healthy, healing and accident free!!!!!:smooth:

DH wants to know who booked first!
We booked on 10-18-01.

This will increase our post count!

Is it time to go yet?????

I'm having trouble deciding which books to bring for sitting on deck. I really like James Patterson but I've read evrything he has. He has a new one coming out in November but that is too late. Any suggestions?

Also, I need to start thinking of little things to pack for my son. I know he will want his CD player and Gameboy Advance for the drive to Florida. Any other ideas of things to bring for him. This is his first cruise. He says he plans on spending quite a bit of time in the Lab but I know he'll want to spend time with us as well.

I'll ask again...is it time to go yet???? I'm starting to get worse than my son: are we there yet? how much further?

Home from work late hence the late post and I have several cups of coffee ready for a late night of work (which I should be doing now but I couldn't resist). Exec. Sum. due tomorrow with lots of data. Oh for the days of bedside nursing!

You beat us Denine- Dec. 2001

Yea Mickey 02 to think that docs got to Canada before some of the others here. Wow!

Hang in there everyone else. Can we have a tally on who's left to recieve docs?

OH! Cantelope-as long as it doesn't start looking like a watermelon! Big and green! Sorry Garry-getting a little punchy with stress! Can't wait- one month we'll all be dressed tropical!

Where's Lori when we need her with all her one sentence posts.

No helping out the 12's Denine! Show your loyalty here!

Goofed. Sorry Disney6...where's my list of names? Oh well one more post to help us pass the 12's! Hi Ho Hi Ho, it's off to work I go... But will stay connected just in case anyone else posts.

Had to kill time for that 60second rule

You guys have us beat! We booked Jan 02. Wanted to use our 99.00 voucher and do a back to back 3 and 4 day. Couldn't get the secret porthole room so decided to forego the voucher and went with the 7 day. Dumb or what? Maybe not cuz we can go to different ports BUT spend more money and waste the voucher.

Thanks for asking about my knee, Garry. They think that I have "floaties" that sometimes get in my way. Didn't show on the MRI but guess that's not unusual. Also, have arthritis. My brother has had probably 10-15 knee surgeries so I know how swollen they can get. It's amazing. But, I am sure yours will go down soon and PT will be next. Take care! Oh, by the way, no surgery before the cruise. Makes me happy!

Gotta go watch the In-Laws now. Will check in before bedtime to add to the count.

Dear gang: Please note in your talley sheet that the Strissel family is officially out of contention for the booby prize.

Yesterday afternoon, I found a door hanger notice that fed-ex wouldreturn between 12 and 4 this afternoon with the docs and that my signature was required. I just picked them up this afternoon from Fed-ex's offices and they're beautiful.

Question on the wine party. Honeymooned in napa almost 17 years ago and wanted to bring something california like to the party. Can I just bring it onboard the plane? Won't security stop me from bringing alcohol on board? Anyone w/experience in transporting alcoholic beverages across state lines?

Sandy (II)

Just adding my post. I really want to get to 1000.

Sandy: No, liqour coming on board is a.o.k.
On our 3-night in 2000 we took aboard a soft-sided cooler that was full! Not even a second glance. As long as you don't bring along a hard sided cooler it is o.k.
We plan on stocking our cooler full, BEFORE boarding.

How is everyone. I have really enjoyed all of the posts. Just haven't had anything interesting to report, but now that we are COMPETING, well that's a whole different story. Just ask David, he claims that I am type A in the competition category all of the time. I think he is type A for thinking I am type A. See what I mean...

Getting excited for West Wing premier tomorrow. That's about life here in WalMartville (aka Bentonville, AR.)

When Paul and I went on the Maiden Voyage in '98, this is what we did:

Paul had come across several cases of mini bottles of most of our favorite brands. We brought some of each of them on board and added them to our mixers (sodas, juice, coffee, etc.). Easy to carry on deck in a pocket or fanny pack without all the bulk of a big bottle.
:p :p :p :p
Our total bar bill was not bad at all - a bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. Never had to pay for sodas on that trip. That was nice!!!

We'll probably bring a few mini bottles again this time, too.

I'll have to turn you guys off! Everytime I hear that mail has arrived I have to check the boards! AM I addicted?

I found a soft cooler today that will hold bottles of wine for only $5. I think I will go back at lunchtime tomorrw and pick it up. I plan on packing it thought and wrapping the 3 bottles of wine. Wow, 3 bottles-not bad for a "cheap date." Our liquor bill was nothing last year. Champagne before dinner and that was it!

Back to work. Thought I would do my part! Very competitive!

Was thinking that security might take the GLASS bottle of wine away at the airport if we carried it on. Thought they might think that if we broke it, it could become a weapon. So--what do think? Wrap it in bubble wrap and a bag and maybe roll it in some blue jeans or something for more cushion and absorption and then pack it in the check in luggage? By the way, I finally made a decision. It will be Moscato. My favorite. It is a dessert wine. We first had it at Palo's a couple of years ago. Yummy!

You know what Bonnie? I, too, am a cheap date. My drink of choice is Diet Coke. But on the cruise we try to buy the drink of the day. I buy the refillable mug and buy Ted cans of Pepsi once we land in Florida. Disney is Coke products ONLY.

How's the knee, Lori? What a funny story.

Congratulations Sandy II. You finally got your docs. Who is left now?

Don't know about bringing wine on plane. Would pack it in bubble wrap and put in suitcases (but I really don't know so don't take that as advice!!!) That's why we took all ours this summer when we DROVE down to my dads place.

What number are we on now????????????????????

Ok ok! I know back to work but I just checked and we're 3 ahead. Good job all! Keep it up.

Glad to hear there will be other "cheap Dates" with us. I guess you'll have all the Dudettes banging on the doors with you Krista! I will do either Diet Coke or Pepsi so I also purchase the mug on board.

I can't wait!

Schrolls (Sue?): You remind me of Dudette # 2 with all your excitement. Thank heavens it's Dudette # 3 who has to work with her!

Really have to get back to work or it will be an all nighter!

I was wrong. Bonnie replied before I got mine in so now we are at 739----and going strong. Bonnie-get to work! By the way, don't laugh anyone but speaking of cheap dates, Ted and I get milk with our dinner. No wine, no champagne, no drinks, just milk.
