Hi there! I'm a big football fan so getting to the board a little late. BROWNS won!!!!!!!!!!! What a game! I know you all aren't BROWNS fans, but it was a great game! They beat the Titans. I know it isn't Disney, but I'm excited about the come from behind win.

Dudette: Garry is getting better and better each day. His knee is still swollen (not as bad as it was before) and his lower legg and foot are swollen, but getting better. He gets the stitches out on Thurs. and then starts pt. So he'll be doing good for the cruise. Thanks for asking about him.

I've still got a LOT of shopping to do before we set sail. Well better go, I'll check back in later!!!!!!!!

Alas, no hubby, married son, empty nester except my wonderful cat Perditta so-no worries!

Football-the best part of my son taking a wife! Now she has to put up with non stop football every Sunday! Sorry, not a Browns fan. I prefer the Giants, but sshh I'm too close to Phila.

Okay, question before work tomorrow. Won't see the first answer until after work.

We fly in Saturday morning so it's 26 days for us. But wow, less than a month!

Some Nurses have to WORK on the weekend (Dudette #2 & #3). We don't have a cushey Monday to Friday job like Dudette #1 but we do only work three 12 hour shifts a week (usually). I got a call again at 5:00 AM to see if I could come in - no way! after three 12 hour shifts in a row.

Bonnie is addicted! I can tell. She gets like this. She is very obsessive! First pin collecting, now this thread. Where does it end?

Hi, guys. I haven't been posting much for the past week. I have a kidney stone and doing everything I can to pass it before the cruise. I go for another CT scan Tuesday afternoon. The doctor knows we have to take care of this thing before I set sail!!! Glad to know a lot of nurses will be on hand, but, just in case, I will have my Tylox with me if this happens again!! Nurses are great but they can't stop the pain like Tylox (or Demerol for that matter!).

Haven't been able to shop for the things I need since I have been out of commission. When will I get it all done??????? Good news is I have lost a few pounds without even trying. I don't recommend a kidney stone for those of you wanting to shed a few pounds!

Thirteen years ago today, hurricane Hugo came through here and really messed us up bad (170 miles in land). Someone make the tropics quiet down in the next week or two. NO ROCKIN' MY BOAT!!!!

Hadn't mentioned before, so here's a little more about us:
I work for a Bank Holding Company as a Technical Consultant (boring!!). My husband is self-employed as a private investigator; always paying attention to details! My son is in 3rd grade and is obsessed with hocky. He plays goaltender for a local team and dreams of winning the Stanley Cup! He is 8 going on 16!! Loves to play with older kids. He and my husband are pin collectors (looking to make some trades!).

Enough from me, I'm supposed to be working from home so need to get back to work. I'll check in when I can!

I have been under the weather with a stomache virus. Very rare for me, not the upchuck kinda gal. But back now, feeling as good as ever and beginning to panic about packing

How cute...

Clare will be our little Lilo, so we can have all of the Disney movies represented.

Clare thinks Mickey Mouse will be Minnie Mouse for Halloween and vice versa. Oh the logic of a 3 year old. Clare says, "I like all of you, I found a friend already(Mackenzie), and that's not a joke mama."

WHAT! MILITARY DISCOUNT??

My husband and my son Jason
are both Air Force. Jason is stationed down in Georgia He is an
Air Traffic Controler (Can you tell I am very proud of him)!!

How do I find out about this discount? I booked our complete
vacation over the internet. Since we had the pleasure of paying for 2 cabins a discount would sure be a nice little surprise. Guess I will call Disney today and find out. Wooo Hoooo could be more shopping money for Barb!

DD#2: Don't you just love those 5 AM phone calls? I used to work 3 12 hour shifts per week, when I worked in the hospital, a long time ago! Now I work PRN. I usually work 4 hour shifts, 6AM-10AM. We had a nurse quit, so I have been working a lot (for me) lately. The good news is, they just hired a new one!!!!

I had to work Saturday morning. Yesterday we actually got outside to do some yard work. Between my back and my hayfever, I haven't been able to get out there. I don't know where I would be without my Vioxx! Anyway, we got the grass cut and a bunch of spring bulbs planted. Then we went to look at open houses. We saw a couple that were nice. One had been completed remodeled inside and out. The other had some updates done, but still needed work in other areas. We saw one that would need to be gutted and fumigated! We don't know if we are going to move. We'd really like to move to FLorida, but don't know if it will happen. We hate the cold and snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Indian's won yesterday too, but you wouldn't even know they played yesterday. The front page of the paper was all Brown's. Sorry, I can't stand football, Jerry doesn't watch it anymore, hasn't in a long time.

Let's see, 3 weeks from today we will be at see on our way to Cozumel after being at Key West.
Looks like the Magic will be on a mystery cruise this week. There is a TS headed toward the Eastern Caribbean and the Bahamas.

I have 2 active military guys. My husband Bob and son Jason
Jason is an sir traffic controller and is stationed in Georgia. I am very proud of him can you tell? Jason is 22 today! Happy Birthday Baby! Hard to believe I have a 22 year old. I don't feel any different then the day I was 22!

I found the military thread. I am sooo excited to call. You guys are sooo wonderful! What would I do without all of you but walk around the ship friendless! Not invited to any wine tasting parties! We had the pleasure of paying for 2 cabins so a credit would definitely be welcomed!

Kidney stones are not fun, This past summer my husband left for Germany for 3 months on a Thursday the next Sunday I had an attack and was put in the hospital for the next week for surgery.

Boy, the tropics really is heating up. I bet the Magic is glad that this week was an Eastern, not Western week. Nobody knows where Isadore is going. Makes for an interesting time. I think a Mystery cruise could be interesting. I know, I have a sick sense of humor.

A little info about our group:
I am 47, working parttime at the Disney Store
DH-50, works for a company that manufactures baby clothes
We have 2 daughters that are 21 and 24

Birthday girl-50 and a homebody
Her dh is OB-Gyne
They have 1 son that is 24 and 1 daughter that is 19

We have been friends for 22 years, having met at a mommy and me class with our eldest children. That's about it for us

Wow, maybe I should just keep this to myself and knock on wood (that would be my head), but I'm healthy! No Docs of course, but I expected that. I asked Delta if my reservations required paper tickets or were they electronic. Darn, ... paper. One more thing I have to be dependent on. I guess DCL doesn't send them to the TA (with docs) until the last min. in case of change requests. Jeeez. I don't want a booby prize! I want peace of mind! Oh well. 10 days prior, I have a panic attack scheduled in on my calendar. Until then, I'm not going to worry about it. (sounded convincing, didn't I?)

If any of you recent folks don't know about it, you are invited to a BonVoyage party in Denver Oct. 5th. The Mickey02, JiminyC and Dreams gangs will be there. I copied off the recipe for Konk Koolers to see if the bartender will whip us up a pitcher!

I feel so lucky to have such nice neighbors going on the cruise!

Busy weekend guys. It took me a while to catch up.

Still no docs. I meet the Fed Ex guy this morning as I was taking the kids to school. I turned around & followed him, but he drove right by my house. BOOHOO! The kids were saying " Mom what are you doing. We have to go to school!" I told them some things are more important than school.

Denine - my parents are going along with us. Ron (59) & Jo Ann ( she would kill me if I posted her age!) Then DH Greg(48) Me (33) twin girls Conner & Hannah (9) & Gunner (4).
Congrats on the 5 pounds!!!!

They do have tuxes on ebay. I know for a size 6 or 7 they are around $25. Toddler sizes are probably less.

I am starting to think of all the things that need to be done before vacation. And then last night I had a dream that our son came down with the chicken pox. When I woke from it, I went to his room to check him for spots. No spots, thank GOD!

1/2 can Cream of Coconut
3 ounces light rum
3 ounces dark rum
1/2 of a 12oz can frozen passion fruit juice concentrate (Welches)
4 ounces orange juice
2-3 cups of ice
Add all together in a blender until very fine and smooth.
