Well, I now have my flight information anyway. It took 3 calls and ELEVEN people before getting it! My TA kept pointing to
DCL, and DCL kept pointing to my TA. I knew that it's the TA's job to tell me what the flight info was, but they kept saying that since they didn't book it, DCL did, that I would have to call them for it, back and forth, back and forth. Uuuggghhhh! Finally, a DCL person was SO SWEET, (although, she was looking right at my info and couldn't tell me) she made a conference call to my TA with me, and explained to them just what they are supposed to be doing for their customer, (that's what the commission is for...) etc. So I'm given a special phone number to call back to the TA with, and
that person
would call DCL and get it. Still with me here? I call that number, get transferred 3 more times... Air desk -- " Well, since it is air info you want, that was attached to a
cruise you want the cruise desk"
Cruise desk -- "This is the cruise desk, we don't deal with air issues. I'll transfer you to the air desk" Etc. FINALLY, someone there called DCL, was told my flight numbers (4 of them) and relayed the info to me. Jeeez.
All so that I could get seat assignments, before it was a situation of our family of 4 being spread out in 3 different parts of the plane (again- story on page 8). I call Delta, they have my name on those flight numbers (YES) and low and behold, the seat assignments were already made and we're all sitting together! DCL said they do not make seat assignments, and the TA certainly hadn't lifted a finger. What EVER. It's done. It's good to know the info now. My husband has decided to put in for another half day off, Thursday night, (he works nights and gets home at 2am) as we now know that we'll be getting up at 4am Friday to begin our tour of these beautiful United States. We get to visit Georgia on the way and Texas on the way back! What an adventure! LOL I'll make that fun for the kids if it kills me! LOL
No docs, but at least I'll make it to Florida! I gotta be happy with *that*!
