Well, I'm back from having my stitches removed and it wasn't too bad. I have to start PT now and then see the doc again on 10/15. That's the good news.

The bad news is that my DW must have felt left out with all the attention I've been getting from the doctors, so she went ahead and scheduled an appointment with my surgeon because she started having trouble with her right knee yesterday.

I'm beginning to think we are a cursed bunch. There aren't any icebergs in the Caribbean, are there?

Thanks Dreams for saving the last six pack for me but I think DD1 needs it more than me. Psst...between you and me I think she has a problem. Drinking before work?

Good to hear that it wasn't too bad to have your stitches out. Man, I have had some "toughies" and they weren't easy. So sorry to hear about Julie. Hope her Dr. appt turns out okay. I tend to agree with you, I think we are cursed BUT the cruise will be the way of getting us through it all. Our reward shall I say. There will be no talk of icebergs!!!!!!

If Garry gets the last 6 pack, then I guess I will just have to have MILK for dinner. I knew Lori would love that one. After a week like this one, I think I need a STIFF drink AFTER dinner though. (not milk-smarties)

Julie: Just because your DH had knee surgery, doesn't mean you can have problems too!

I think I have my travel shopping list made out, lots of snacks for the roadtrip.

Just waiting until Isidore makes it's way here tonight so it can drop several inches of rain on us. The local weather god says 1-2" maybe more. Just so the rest of you know, any hurricane or TS that comes on land, finds it's way here to Cleveland. I don't care where it came on land, it ends up here. Tomorrow is going to be very dreary. And I hate dreary.

I am swearing off bear, bring on the tequila!!!!!!!

Good shot on those trivia questons. I won the store trivia contest when I worked there (they used to have it annually before Sue's time) but lost at the district competition. We came in second on the last cruise. My brain is too tired to try them right now. Maybe I'll perk up after some beer.

How many suitcases are you taking per person. It looks like Dudette 1 may have two! I have a very large one and probably will have to do a carryon that I will check. Dudette 2 is planning on the same I think.

I wish we had thought about flying the night before. Getting in a bit of panic with this weather. I once sat on the runway for 3 hours due to storm cells! We might just make the ship if that happens.
