No fair! I want our DOCS!!
I come home for work every day and check the bushes, and when I open the storm door I think something will fall out and NOTHING!

Lori I sent my email address to you. If anyone would like a picture of the Dudettes send me your email and I will send it to you. I look different now though. My own mother doesn't recognize me when we go shopping!

My Co-workers say "HI". and "Yes, she gets a lot of work done!" I will check once during the day, this thread only and it takes about 3 mins.

Trick or Treat: COuld we meet up again later in the cruise on the "secret Veranda" for the trick or treat. Sunday everytihing will still be new for the kids and they may not want to dress up. Plus that is formal night remember. I like the idea of them knocking on the door of the veranda though.

Denine: I hope they sent both sets out at the same time!

Krista, you are right. Nothing too exciting, not even an upgrade. Actually, I opened ours up slowly because I have been reading about all the upgrades and wasn't real sure we wanted one. We have the secret porthole room and have been in the same room before. We know its location, we know its quiet, we know that it isn't really obstructed. Heard horror stories about people getting upgraded and getting noisy, unwanted rooms. Good luck to all of you still waiting, especially Denine.

Yesterday when I got home the FED EX slip was on my door
I raced across town to make it before Fed Ex closed and before
the girls activities. Pretty exciting to see our names on the tickets. My 17 year old daughter was not home when I got home so I took her ticket out and hid it, left the others on the counter. Heeheeheeheehee

After she got home she started looking through like I knew she would. When she relized everyone had one but her she ran up to my room in a panick until she saw the look on my face . Oh the joys of being a parent!!

I believe Jerry and I are the last on the 10-12 board to get our docs (not yet), except for Kamy who had trouble with getting flight times.

Bonnie: You are not allowed to whine until I get my 10-12 docs

If they did send them both out at the same time, we won't get them at the same time. The first set will come directly to us via fed-ex from DCL. The 2nd set shoud go to our TA and she will mail them to us. So, it doen't make sense for them to have waited. Now, we will probably be the last to get them on this board as well

They just better show up today or I will be impossible to live with this weekend!

Mickey02, that's too funny. I'd love to try that on my DH, but he holds grudges.
No Doc's for me either. That's what I get for that tease. I called my TA to double check their policy, and was told that they had not yet arrived, and for me not to expect them until 3 weeks before cruise date. Yuk. Better be sooner than that. I wonder if it's slowed down by my having DCL air too. DCL doesn't arrange air too far in advance, so maybe those docs aren't prepared as soon as the others ??? That's doesn't explain Denine's delay though. I'm feeling for ya, Denine. Hey, how's your Endo situation these days, anyway?

Hey, wasn't bobbing for apples discontinued because the kids were kindof sharing spit in the ol' tub there? It sounds like a great activity if someone can assure me that its "safe".

Sandy, where was your MRI done? At MY place?

No Lori, my MRI is scheduled at a place near Youngfield and I70. Sure would have been more convenient at your place! Leaving in about 20 minutes. Was reading the thread to see how many got their docs. I think when you order through DU that DCL sends them out to you. Therefore, we do not have the middle man (TA). That's too funny, MickeyO2. My daughter would kill me!

I believe you are right on the bobbing for apples thing, Lori. Sharing spit wasn't considered "cool" there for a while. But I know the parents were fine with it at my niece and nephew's school.

Is there a consolation prize for the last to recieve their docs?

My endo is doing fine right now. Thanks for asking. I'll know more the beginning of October. We will find out if the surgery has helped the pain situation. I do have 2 appointments in November, one is a specialist. I need to find a new doc since my old one retired and I can't stand the one that did my surgery.

I am killing time, anxiously waiting for the fed-ex guy to come. Everytime I hear a truck, I am looking out the window!

I can't remember the table set up. I know this was our only dinner last time alone, so maybe we ought to just leave it at that. But maybe for brunch &/or high tea.

I got home tonight. No DOCs. Message on my machine from Dudette #2 (Jeanne). She has the DOCs but only by a miracle! She had a message on her ans. machine saying that Fed Ex had a package but they couldn't deliver it as addressed. Now, all correspondence has been coming through me, I made the reservations with my address. The address on the Fed Ex envelope didn't have any of our addresses on it but it did have Jeanne's phone number!
Needless to say DCL will be receiving a call from me tomorrow! All I can imagine is that the phone number was left over from last year's cruise. But the address is totally wrong and as I recall we have to show at least one DL with the address on it. OK, Enough anger for now I will save it for tomorrow when I call them.

Palo's for one or the other or the other sounds great!!! Brunch may be the best time. Let's see, when did I have that scheduled for? OH NO I LOST THE SCHEDULE! Don't laugh Denine!

I haven't recieved any pictures yet. I forgot that I do have some out there some place so I will put ours on the HP web site and then post the link.

Denine- I think you will win the booby prize for being last. Sorry.

Hey... wait on that booby prize -- we haven't seen any docs yet (but will gladly let Denine have that prize!!!! sorry) What we DID get today is our shore excursion confirmation letter - and yes we booked them at the 60 day out mark!

Greg (DH) actually looked at the navigators I'd printed out from Dave's website and we can't believe how much stuff goes on on this boat! We just laugh because even though it's our 2nd cruise we missed everything last time! no shows, no games, no adult areas, no parties (except sailaway), no excursions -- were we on the cruise???!!!! we were in bed by 9 -- 10 at the latest every night even. We had a GREAT time though!!! it was very relaxing and FUN FUN FUN!!! have to admit we are pretty much homebodies but my dad and Penny are NOT so I think we'll be getting out and maybe socializing a bit more.

Getting excited!!!!

I'm still working on the picture thing. Guess if I could hook up the scanner I'd be in business eh?

Asked DH(david) tonight what night for palos, he said, " can't we go every night?" I guess he is actually getting excited.
I told him that there is brunch and tea and he said sign us up for it all......Hm.... Interest might be perking.
don't want to get too excited over potential interest in cruise. Maybe he is ill.
