Don't even read this. I'm just venting.
Still there, OK, here's the latest...
Yippee, I've just been named my daughter's "Room Mom". (Funny, I didn't even check off that box at registration. I think I volunteered for about 15 other jobs and committees, however.) So, I need to pull together a Halloween party and would like to have the ideas in place *before* the cruise. Anyone been there/done that? Any novel ideas of what to do with 4th graders in a cramped space with judgmental parents looking on. There's a few loud parents proclaiming that to celebrate Halloween is worshiping Satan, etc. Funny, I grew up trick-or-treating and never practiced that.

So, I'm thinking I'd better leave out the human sacrifices and candle ceremonies. Maybe next year.

Oh, hey! If we don't finish off that Vampire wine, I'll bring it in and tell those parents that it's in the punch! .. Sorry, I'm drifting here. Can you tell I'm a little on edge about this? Katie's really happy that I'm doing it, so I'm going to try and do a really good job. I'd love it if I hadn't seen the abuse that previous Room Mom's have taken from parents already. That's probably why the job had to be assigned this time. It used to be a coveted job. Well, I feel better already, thanks for listening to me and for any input you might have.
Denine - that baklava would do me in. Love It.
"Hi" to Bonnie's co-workers.(.. does she get
any work done?
