Did anyone request a specific dinner rotation? I know our last cruise we had PLAPLAP. Which put us in Lumiere's for Formal night and Parrot Cay for tropical night and Animator's for Semi Formal night. Is the schedule the same? (ie. formal night still on sun. etc.) Just curious to know if there is a better dinner rotation or is this one the best? Also, are we the only family that has the late seating?

We are soooo ready for this and need it! My hubby (Boardwalk Garry) is going in for knee surgery tomorrow morning!

Karaoke eh? In high school my music teacher asked me to mouth the words! My DH is even worse!!!! Sometimes I really have to concentrate in church not to snicker at him (but don't tell him -- of course he's probably thinking the same of me - LOL)

Actually we HAD talked about doing karaoke - need to have my quota of 1 1/2 beers (I'd be PRETTY HAPPY after that) to do it! I do think it'd be fun to meet in one of the adult areas at night. We can impromtu plan that on the ship I think.

I was able to open your pictures - they are great! You guys really have some kinda fun together don't you? We'll probably sail before I can get this darn scanner hooked up! Hey, we'll have to try to get a picture of everyone together at one of the parties!

Garry's wife: (sorry I can't think of your first name) last time we had APLAPLA. I personally DON'T care about the dining rotation and since we have early seating am very happy the times are back to normal! I might have had to switch otherwise and that would have messed up the evening kids club activities.

Alright you guys...........I better see some lime green. I found an outfit (on clearance) that was as lime green as I could find!! I don't want to be alone. I asked my DH if it was considered lime green ---- He asked why, I explained to him about wearing lime green, he just shook his head and said that I was NUTS!!! LOL
He wanted to make sure that none of the husbands were wearing lime green. (Maybe a lime green tux???)

I found a striped lime green shirt on clearance (can't imagine, why ) I will be wearing that on both embarkation days. No, Jerry will not be wearing lime green. But, we do have ribbons, but they are more mint green.

dudette #3 here... The abuse I am taking from my friends is unreal. I received my docs this morning. I am so excited. To set things right I am not an alcoholic. I am just a cheap date. I am the quiet one of the group because they do not give me a chance to talk. I am also the oldest of the group. You would think they would show me a little respect. I have not heard from my daughter who is in Bermuda. I hope Hanna did not visit. See you all later I have to get back to work. OH the picture of dudette is not really me.. Happy Monday everyone! Has everyone gotten the documents?

Over the weekend my cat was jumping onto the top of my bed
and missed. I was laying underneath where she was aiming. She came right down on top of my face so now I have these major cat scratches right around my eye
Thought I was going to need stitches. One of my first thoughts
was I will look terrible for the cruise! But I still have 3 weeks to heal before we leave for Disney. I am glad it happened now instead of in a few weeks!

Sorry about Garry's knee surgery! OUCH! If he heals half as good as my brother, he'll be fine for the cruise. I will find out for sure this Wednesday what they plan for my knee.

Barb, cat scratches are horribly painful. Hope you are healing ok.

Beth, formal night is Sunday, tropical night is Tues. and someone correct me if I am wrong but I believe semi is Thurs. What I have titled "regular night" is Sat., Mon. and Wed. We will choose Palo's on one of those nights because we have been to regular dining in all 3 of the restaurants before. Because it is just the two of us I bet our formal will be in Triton's.

Happy to see that you stuck your head in again, Joyce. I really hope everything is great with your daughter in Bermuda.

I called and put in a request for PLAPLAP rotation for dining but won't find out until embarkation.

Barb, you'r face should be fine in 3 weeks at least nothing a little makeup can't help. Lucky she missed your eye. Wow!

Laurie Lime green tux sounds great! It gets my vote!

And yes, Dudette # 3 is the oldest, I'm the baby of the three of us and Jeanne is the "middle child" believe the personalities fit too!
How do you all keep the names straight?!?! I have started to write them down !

Garry and I (Julie) would like to thank all of our Oct 19th family for their thoughts. Garry's surgery went well. It was a torn ligament in the knee and he had to do some bone shaving of the kneecap. The doctor said he'll be back to full work duty in 3 weeks. So that's great news for the cruise!!!!!!!! Garry would have sent a messege today, but he's a little loopie from the drugs.

JiminyC_fan: we hope you get a good report for your knee. We will keep you in our thoughts.

Disneydudette1: great pics! Now I'll know who to look for. I assume that you all are wearing some form of lime green so you can pick each other out. Are we all involved with the wearing of the green?

Barb: I've been there before. We have had cats for as long as I can remember and cat scratches are the worst. They hurt!!! But I sure it will be better for the cruise.

Just a little humor for the day: When Garry was waiting to be wheeled in to the surgery room, the anaesthesiologist ( or the drug guy when I asked Garry how to spell anaethesiologist) was walking through and said: "Boy this place is dead around here". Just what you want to hear before you're wheeled into surgery. We had a good laugh and it seemed to ease us both. Also, his recovery nurse was his 4th grade girlfriend. What a small world!!

31 days to go!!! Garry will be the one in pants at the pool since they had to shave his one leg!HAHAHAHAHA!!

Re Pics: We look a little different. I'm a bit thinner and had all my hair cut off. # 2 looks the same as wedding photo, # 3 always looks the same.

My kitty wounds are healing nicely (thank God) I have been
nursing them every night with that stuff that makes your skin
red. Thanks for all the caring words.

I love the Dudette's pictures! Wish I could say that is what I
looked like last year but now I have lost weight. No such luck!

Last night I spent 5 hours sitting on hard bleachers watching my
2 daughters cheer (One is a freshman one is a Senior) at volleyball games. What a fun evening. I need a vacation! Wait I am taking one in 3 weeks!! Life is good!! Woo Hoooo!!!

Garry glad to hear your surgery went well. I loved the hospital humor.

Diana, what stuff makes your skin red? I'm glad it's working for you anyway. I think I'd have been pretty mad at that cat.

So, what is that booby prize?
I called DCL/air and was told that they would prepare my docs and send them out no sooner than 10-14 days prior to cruise date. They send them to my TA, who told me that they inspect them, (takes a few days as they are understaffed right now) then send them on to me by regular mail. I'm thinking maybe I'll get them 3-7 days before heading to the airport for that day before flight. Well, at least I won't be freaking out that they are not coming between now and then. The DCL/air lady said they would book my air in two more days though, so I can call back and get the info needed to get my seating assignments done. No prob. It's good to have some information anyway.
