Thanks Sandy, for worrying about me. It has been crazy around here. Once the snow melted...whew. I'm in for weight loss and support. I am starting a no-coffee routine, with only green tea. Been at it since Friday. Eek, I am not much fun in the morning.

I hope Mackenzie is feeling better. Nothing is worse than those coughing attacks. There is nothing you can do!!

Lori, how dare you shop without me. I thought I was the queen of internet shopping (hey that should be my ya-ya name instead of dances-on-tables, oh, I don't know, that one fits too.). I bid on a bunch of ebay stuff after wine night.

I'm back....

I just thought that I would check in with all of you. This has truly been a horrible week. I am typically a person who is always in control and on top of things, and now I have lost it. We have found out that because of the change in the SS benefits that my handicapped sister will now be receiving, she will be slightly over the income limit and will lose her medical card through the state. So, I am scrambling to find another source for her for health insurance. I know that she will fit into a program somewhere through the state, but I just need to find what it is, and I am dealing with the bureaucracy of it all. Also, we need to get rolling on changing the guardianship for my sister in the event that something happens to my mom (heaven forbid). I just know that if something were to happen today, we would be screwed and have absolutely no rights. So, I am hustling to get that done. I am back to work today, just trying to get through the day. It is still so hard....

I really appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers during this time.

Sandy -- I am keeping your brother in our prayers too!

Darren -- We are all so excited for you!! We hope to see you on our next cruise.

Oh Laurie, that sounds so rough. There really is a bunch of bureaucracy out there. If anyone can figure that stuff out, it will be you. When things are back on an even keel, you'll need to go plan a visit to Darren.

Humm, I like the sound of that better than "let's go on a Disney Cruise." How about ... "Hey, I think it's time we go visit my friend Darren." (He serves great meals, too)

I have received 2 quotes for the 10-16-04 cruise. Right now my regular TA is beating Dreams. I just have to make sure she included the port charges and taxes, she usually does.

Laurie...I'm sure you will work something out. If you lived in PA I may be able to help you figure something out but each state is different. Check for low cost insurance offered by the state. Something will pan out I'm sure.

Overslept this morning while waiting for the alarm! Next time I wake up 1/2 hour before the alarm I will get up! I never set it last night! DUH! No word on start date for the new job....I am beginning to wonder! LOL!

Laurie, I really hope that you get everthing worked out soon. It must have been a hard blow to hear about your sisters medical card. I think that you are so on top of it for checking into guardianship. We think of you often.

Everyone else, tomorrow is weigh in day. Don't forget to do that. You don't need to tell us how much you weigh. Next Wed weigh in again and tell us how much you lost. Don't forget to weigh the same time each Wednesday as it can vary during different times of the day. Are we keeping track on how many inches we lose? Ok, I already need help. Saturday is Ted's and my anniversary. I need advice on how to stay motivated while going out to eat at Johnny Carino's, an Italian restaurant. Never been there and don't know the menu. I know one thing is to divide the meal in half immediately and put it in a take home container. Reg. spaghetti is probably the best.

I guess it was a slow posting day. I have already forgotten to weigh myself. I like to do it in the morning beofre I eat.

Expecting another snowstorm tonight. we are already in 3rd snowiest. We need about 10 more inches to be snowiest and we have all of March and part of April to go. It is not a record I want to break! The current snowiest, Jerry and I lived in our condo and somebody else had to do the driveway!

Has anybody checked out the threads containing pictures from the NE Ohio DISmeet? There are pictures of us and Kaleigh.

Yes Barb, tomorrow is weigh in day. I posted earlier today and it explains. I think that we can use this thread if that is alright with everyone as a lot of us has shown interest. If you do not want to post your weight loss goal, just email me. Not your end or beginning weight just what you want to lose. I was planning to keep records for everyone but if you would rather do it yourself it doesn't matter. We will do what the popular vote wants. Inches? Comments? Suggestions? Once weight loss has been achieved should we reward that person?

Sure hope the tooth pulling is going fine. Poor Sally, needs to get that thing out!

Hey I just noticed something, Denine and Jerry have decided on the Oct 16th cruise right? Sandy, Ted, Joyce, Jeanne, Laurie, John have booked the Oct 24th.

Bonnie has a hard decision to make, SHE PROMISED to baby sit Kaleigh on the cruise, BUT Denine and Jerry have booked (or is in the process of booking the 16th cruise). Either Bonnie does back to back cruises or one group will not have dudette1 on board with them. Hummmm points to ponder. I know we would all like to have Bonnie on the cruise with them (ideal would be that all of us would book the same cruise, but that isn't likely). I know it is alittle far out yet for Bonnie, but I'm sure when the time comes she will attempt to make everyone happy. We are still going backa nd forth about which cruise to book. I would love to do both, but we aren't Darren! or for that matter Denine and Jerry! Decisions, decisions!

Makenzie is feeling better today. She did go to school today. She is slowing getting back to her old self.

Laurie, sorry to hear about your trouble with the state and you sister. I hope you can get it all worked out soon! We'll be thinking of you!

Just wanted to let you know I am still alive & kicking! I had a great weekend in Delaware. We didn't get the amount of snow we were supposed to get & we left on Friday & stayed until Monday afternoon. We shopped, ate, shopped some more, ate some more, went to the movies & just had an all around good time. Mary Lou had a house built & it is absolutely beautiful. It is on the Indian River near Bethany Beach, Delaware.

I will now go back & find out what I'm missing........
