Turner has hockey this eveing so I probably won't be back on til late tonight or tomorrow.

It's the last day of February. March definitely means spring is not far away. Good-bye winter. We've seen enough of you this year!

Good Morning!

Happy Friday everyone. It is cold and snowy here but nothing
like the East is facing.

Jaymee was in a fashion show last night. I was in the front row
taking pictures for her senior scrap book. I teared up watching her come down the runway in her prom dress. I will be a mess at her graduation and wedding.

Susan- I see on the weather that North Carolina has had yet another ice storm and many are without power. How are you holding up??

Sandy, do we start keeping track next Wed or today....I have a toothache so I should be able to lose some as I can't eat much....I think I am going to go have it pulled as the pain pills aren't helping much and I think I am overdoing them.

I am going to an all day crop tomorrow....don't know how I am going to be able to sit still all day...my ear even hurts. Doubt if I can get in to a dentist until next week.

Thanks for all the pixie dust for my brother. They didn't find anything. His EKG showed a possible heart attack and his blood work said no. He got a MRI, cat scan, checked his gall bladder, intestines and I can't think of it all. He is still in a lot of pain. But they just sent him home. I wish that he would have some sort of an answer so we can all relax.

Makenzie get better soon!

I am wondering where everyone is. It IS so quiet. Don't like it like this. I bet money that Krista is a lurker. Her computer is on today. Come out, come out where ever you are!

I have already started watching what I eat but I think that officially we should start reporting on March 12th to give everyone a chance at a full week. So weigh yourself this coming Wed the 5th and report the difference on the 12th. Do you want to report the inches lost or just stick with pounds?

Sandy, glad your brother is out of the hospital. Hope there are no more scares! Have you given more thought to Aspen or Breckenridge this summer? Paul couldn't find the Mountain Chalet on the internet. I think it would be great!!!

Barb, we were spared the ice storm this time. We had just a little on trees and some surfaces but the roads were fine. I can't say the same for the people just 20 miles north. That was where the dividing line was. Thanks for asking.

Sandy, I'm glad that nothing big and ugly showed up on your brother's tests. That's still frustrating to be left with a mystery though.

Hey my package arrived yesterday. The title said EASY classical piano for beginner and intermediate players. THE PAPER IS DRIPPING IN BLACK there are SO many notes per square inch! Yikes. Ok, I'll stick with shopping for things like that in person.

We may go to a DISmeet at the mall today. I saw on the first page of the CB that there was going to be one in NE Ohio. I looked to see where and it is at the mall here in town. That might help chase away some of the winter blues.

My TMJ is killing me. I have never had my jaw hurt so badly. I need to learn to relax, but Kaleigh is teething again.

We finally watched our 10-19 cruise video last night. Is it time to go again? All the blue skies and sunshine...................

More snow coming for tonight. March means nothing around here, just a continuation of winter. We usually get snow into April. We have even had opening day of baseball snowed out!

Sandy, glad to hear your brother seems to beodoing OK.

Good morning all
We had a little snow last night...nothing to brag about. Barb, Tiff, Jaymee and I are going to an all day crop today

I have an appointment Monday at the dentist to get my tooth pulled but my face is swollen so he may not do it....I am living on pain pills...Barb brought hers over to me last night and she said they would last her all day...I have had to take them every 3 hr.
Pray the swelling goes down so he will pull it....Sandy the swelling has to be putting at least 5 lbs on....lol does that count?

Denine hang in there....I can feel for Kaleigh... I know about those Ohio winters...I was born there and didn't move away until I was 36 but at least you won't have a water shortage and everything is so green in the spring.

Lori, you are too funny. Good luck with the piano! I couldn't read a note anymore if my life depended on it. Do all of you want to know a secret about me? My parents forced me into accordian lessons. Wouldn't that be considered child abuse?

Poor, poor Sally. I am so sorry about your tooth. Teeth can really get you down with pain. Pixie dust that they can take it out. But------no it won't count as 5 pounds weight loss. Sorry!

I think I lost a pound. Between the old scale and new scale I am confused. I think I will take back the new one and not worry about tenths, darn it.

Hope Jeanne is having a good weekend and was able to get to see her friends new house.

Denine, TMJ isn't fun that's for sure. My daugther has had it since her braces. She has to wear a retainer for the TMJ but she bites so hard at night that she can go right through it. She could have some sort of surgery but she is refusing. Insurance won't cover it either. You said that you saw the DIS meet on the front page of CB. What is that? Hope you go! It could be fun--and it gets you out of the house. Report to us all about it.

Krista, I am beginning to worry about you. Where are you?

I forgot to address an issue. Lori, when you took your cookie break at the wine party we discussed maybe having a reunion here in Colorado this summer. Paul would like to see it in Aspen or Breckenridge. He has heard of or stayed at a hotel in Aspen called Mountain Chalet. I was going to do research on it but forgot. Sorry Susan and Krista. Do you know anything about it Lori? I told them that Aspen is very expensive and if they would like to see it maybe Glenwood Springs would be a good place because it is so close, cheaper and has the hot springs. Any suggestions? Breckenridge in the summer I can't address. Never been there. Anybody else in the DIS family interested in coming to Colorado? Barb, Sally any comment?

Mom-been the done that with the tooth and swollen face...not fun!! Be very careful...I'm sure they won't do anything to it until you have had a course of antibiotics

Denine-also have TMJ but it doesn't bother me...I just look funny when I open my mouth wide because my jaw pops out of place! The dentist yells at me all the time for doing it! LOL!

Glenwood springs would be better than Aspen, I agree. To stay in Aspen would be about the same price as a cruise. I would love to see a reunion in Breckenridge for the selfish reason of having a free place to stay nearby, at my parents' little place in Dillon. I would be happy to get a room in Glenwood springs too, though.
Breckenridge in the summer has hiking along the continental divide, a paved bike path that goes all the way to Vail if you are so inclined, horseback trail rides, fishing in the blue river great restaurants ... I could go on. Glenwood springs has a nice hike nearby to Hanging Lake, the pools, not too long of a drive to Aspen which has a nice bike path thru town with views of some pretty nice homes. We took our bikes there last fall. I picked out my dream home several times. So either place would be cool with me.

Ok Bonnie, Pluck: eyebrows, nose hairs, mustaches, ear hair, hair under the chin....... Shave: armpits, chests (for men if they do), legs, bikini area if you don't do wax. Wax: bikini area, legs and anywhere else you like it !!! Is that good or do I have to say what I do?

I emailed Diana....told here the RMC was being sent out to seek her out! I was on a computer frenzie yesterday with emails!

To my big and lil sis...everything A-OK. ANd Sandy I will investigate and make an appt Monday for what we discussed. Of course it may take 6 months!

Had a beautiful snow last night. Probably 4-6". The sun is shining now and an all blue sky.

We are so excited for Darren. I hope everything turns out exactly as he hopes.

We went to the DISmeet yesterday for a little while. We met some people that I had talked with via the boards. There appears to be a link to pictures from yesterday if you look on the 1st page of Community Board (CB).

Kaleigh seems to be some better today.

Hey Julie, the pears worked! Tried the bananas again and gave up, the pears went down much better.

Sally: Hope you dentist can get that tooth pulled.

Cruise: I think that we have decided that we are more interested in the Eastern. We like Cozumel, but aren't interested in Key West. We like the extra sea day. Besides, why pay extra for a port you aren't going to get off the ship for? I might check around for some prices for the 10-16 cruise.

Hi everyone! Glad to see the board is starting to come alive. Sorry I missed you Bonnie last night. Makenzie had a HORRIBLE coughing attack that lasted for about 25mins (maybe alittle long) and she was having a hard time catching her breathe. She almost went up to the emergency room last night, but she stopped RIGHT before I was going to take her. I felt so bad for her, she just kept looking at me like make it stop but there was nothing I could do for her. That just rips your heart out. She slept in this morning and seems to be doing better, but I do not want to have another night like last. On top of that, the Big Guy had a nightmare and woke up SCREAMING around 2:45am. Daddy got him to calm down, but he did not want to go back to bed. It took me to almost 4:00am to get him to go back to sleep. Needless to say, it wasn't a good night. And poor Garry (DH) tried to sleep after all the excitement and the DA** alarm clock went off not once, but TWICE!!!!!!! I had thought I had turned off the alarm clock so it wouldn't go off this morning, but I guess one of the kids played with it during the day and turned it back on. So, that was our night!

Great pictures Denine from the meet! I tried to get there, but we had to visit Garry's dad and their new house. Maybe we can make it to the next one!

Been busy this weekend. Helping prepare for a hockey awards banquet and had to figure out the decorateing and go buy all the stuff I needed. I think I have most of that behind me for now.

I emailed Darren to make sure he would still be on the ship in November. He promised if all goes well he'll be back on for another contract. Whewww! I was worried we would miss him.

We need to pick a time for the reunion in Colorado. Then, I'll have to see what I can do to make it happen on our end. I would love to see Colorado and evrybody who could make it for the reunion. How's late July or early August sound?

I am actually here via AOL instead of internet explorer. I tried and it worked. Then I find a new thread stating the same thing. It appears that a lot of AOL people were having trouble getting to the DIS boards.

Am glad Makenzie is better this morning. We didn't get home until after 2:30 this morning from our friends house.
