Happy New Year!!!!

We made it through another year!

Making my resolutions...planning on keeping them this year (can that be a resolution?)...

We had our "new" traditional New Year's Eve dessert, and had a pot of chocolate fondue...yummy! DH got me the fondue stuff a few Christmases ago, and we have been camping in the living room, watching movies, then the ball drop and dipping all kinds of diet killers into the hot stuff...I wasn't going to do it this year, but DS was so disappointed, he guilted me into it...Good thing that resolution stuff starts AFTER midnight...

If I had to pick a day, it would be Monday. But that's because DH and I have Palo ressies on Wednesday. Lunch is good for us too, if that is OK with everyone else. Monday will probably be our Character Breakfast (if we get the rotation I requested). But honestly, I'm not sure if my kids will be interested in going anywhere at 0930. They will probably be more interested in sleeping ...These are the kids that didn't want to go to WDW in the morning, but would rather sleep in...

So, I guess it's how "formal" everyone wants to be for the "singing". Since kids can't go to Palo, I guess it's Lumiere's, or Parrot Cay for a sit down lunch. Passporter says that Lumiere's lunch menu changes daily, and Parrot Cay has an Asian Buffet on Monday. We are good with either one. I'm sure if we say something at Lumiere's we could get a few tables, and maybe some cakes or something. Not sure who to contact about that, but might be worth looking into...Lunch seating is 1130-1:30 at Lumiere's and at 1200-2:00 at Parrot's Cay.

Another option is meeting on Deck 9 midship any time after 1100, and get pizza or burgers and gather up our own chairs and such. Or Topsider's buffet opens at 1200. Then it's bathing suits and casual all the way. Kids can come and go to the pools, and we can enjoy the weather...

Any other ideas?

If we have an 8:30 pm dinner seating... what time is our breakfast seating?? because that will tell me how much food I can handle. I can't do breakfast with our other parties and then come eat lunch..

The Character Breakfast is the morning after your Animator's Palette Dinner rotation (per Passporter), and it is the only one that has a set seating time. I asked for the LAPLAPL rotation, so that would put us at Character Breakfast on Monday (if we get the rotation I asked for when I booked).

The rest of the breakfast times are whenever you want.

I have a table that is quickly filling up with stuff that I think we HAVE to take. DH walks by it and shakes his head But for some reason he is always happy when we are away and I didn't forget the Imodium...

In 13 cruises I have only been sea sick twice and never had any other 'problem'. Now I use Bonine and haven't gotten sick. In fact I enjoyed a really rough ride in Alaska, 6-8 foot seas in a trimaran (not sure how to spell it)!
