ROFR timeframe

Hello everyone,

We are waiting on ROFR for our first DVC purchases - two small contracts for BCV. We submitted before the christmas holiday. I know ROFR is 30 days - is that business days? Will the holiday have any impact on our response from disney?

We submitted ours on December 9th, 2010 and just received notice that we passed yesterday. So a little less than 30 calendar days.

The ROFR decision from DVC is usually coming within 21 - 30 days from the day it was submitted. That is calendar days, not business days.

Even though we just purchased last summer, I remember the wait being a killer. (I'm not a patient person anyway, but the anticipation of owning was more than I could take!) I hope it goes fast for you... Good Luck!

Ours took 29 calendar days, just heard back yesterday. I think that's a little longer than usually (just by a few days), but I would have to think the holidays slowed things down a little bit.

It take almost a month for the ROFR to go through. Disney tries to wear you down and jump over to them.

Our contract was submitted on december 6 and was accepted on december 27... a nice little 21 days !!!
