Private sale, per point price is a little more than what seems to be passing ROFR for a 2042, but we negotiated the price back in September right before things started dipping. Plus, I wanted to make sure we could dodge ROFR...fingers crossed that things stay this way!
Small contracts go for higher prices. Enjoy! We love OKW!

And yet the many keep listing for $20-40 higher than what is passing. Scratching my head on BCV contracts right now.
it only takes one uninformed buyer to bite. I agree that BCV contracts are priced too high. But the smaller contracts still get bought very quickly even in the $160-$170pp range. It just goes to show BCVs desirability despite its short shelf life.

Great price! I've been eying those contracts as Sep is our UY. There were three of them at one point, all priced the same. We really don't need more points, but that price is so tempting that we've been thinking about it. It sure seems as if this is a great time to try and sneak one past the ROFR lady with the reduced number of buy backs recently. Good luck. I hope your's makes it through!

Thanks! We are certainly happy with the price and that the seller agreed to pay maintenance fees on all of the 22 points. Now just waiting and hoping the ROFR beast is asleep!

Long time lurker but I think my contract might have passed ROFR! We got an email to sign an addendum that we would pay 2023 MF.

Waiting to hear officially…but I’m at work and can’t call Fidelity until tonight!

Usually that means that ROFR found an error in the paperwork and that it will be resubmitted to ROFR once they get the addendum.

I am going through the same thing now with Fidelity as the broker. The contract was resubmitted to ROFR on 12/5 and it has not cleared yet, so it appears that it goes to the back of the line.

Awww man! Thanks for letting me know. I texted the guy but didn’t really get an answer on that question.

So does our 30-45 days start over? 😩

Do you think 172/point on a 25-point BWV contract is too much? I found one for 4300 with 25 points and I am very tempted to get it so I can do 1-2 nights at Boardwalk each year

I wish I knew the answer. My other two contracts cleared in about 3 weeks with no issues so I am mentally planning for this contract to go through on the last week of December (weather and holidays permitting) with the points loaded be the end of January.

I PERSONALLY think it's not worth it but it really depends on you and your needs/wants. On the one hand, $4300 is a drop in the bucket when buying a DVC contract. But the $172pp for a 2042 contract might be a hard pill to swallow psychologically. If it's something you know you will use for the next 19 years, I'd say go for it. I wouldn't get so wrapped up in the price per point as the annual dues will be minimum and the $4300 you'll pay will be an after thought 19 years from now. 25 point contracts are also pretty rare so they would generally warrant a higher price.

This one was on page 1 of this thread. It's more than 25 points but still considered a small contract and passed at $135.
