I think he has been tracking the deeds at SSR and BLT with the intention of adding on this year, so he probably means that this lower price is good for his future purchase ; )

I feel similarly, of course the deeds are open to searching esp in Florida but no one wants to feel like they might be identified/outed in a forum where they aren't using their real name.

Got the good news this afternoon!! Glad I got these points but little sad I will be selling a small BRV contract to help purchase this. My thinking is I'm trading in BRV for a longer term.

I did not mean anything negative by my post. I just look at the deeds to assist me in determining bid prices.

I look at every deed from several resorts and started last year when several brokers told me that the low prices I saw were on stripped contracts. The information posted here contradicted what the brokers claimed.

I apologize if you were offended by my post.

This is priced as if DVC came out and definitively said the new Poly tower absolutely will NOT be able to be booked with PVB points. I mean...excellent price for a small PVB contract AND still the good chance it's able to be used at Poly2.

You might be right, but the same happened when with Grand Floridian where those prices dropped quite a bit and Disney wasn't ROFR any of the contracts. I am hoping they are doing the same. Still I hadn't seen many prices in the 120s so I was throwing out a number I didn't think the seller would accept and we did some minor back and forth and I think I went up $3 from my original offer. We are hoping we can stay in Poly2 but we have some other contracts that qualify to stay there if need be.

Watched it for a few months and the afternoon our new airline card arrived (wanted to use it for the deposit to hit the sign-up bonus) I submitted the offer and it was immediately accepted as-is. Hooray!

I’ll bet the guides are reporting back that a lot of the people who purchased VGF last year want to add on small contracts and they need inventory….

At least my Aulani ones are safe….
