ROFR Thread April to June 2025 *PLEASE SEE FIRST POST FOR INSTRUCTIONS & FORMATTING TOOL*

The ROFR monster only likes domestic cheese…..
(as a relative newbie here) why is this? Longer closing times? More paperwork? I'm assuming it must somehow translate to a costlier transaction for Disney if they regularly avoid ROFR'ing international contracts?

aoconnor---$148-$9390-60-CCV@WL-Jun-0/24, 60/25, 60/26, 60/27-Seller pays $719 closing- sent 5/10

With the seller paying $719 in closing costs it's equivalent to $136 /pt which I felt good about for a small contract. Excited to add this to my 330 points at AKV + GFV, will now own my three favorites!

Love this thread for becoming an informed purchaser of what contracts are going for, how long they are taking, and whether ROFR is being exercised. Many thanks to the creators of the tool and those who moderate the thread.

Does anyone know if adding "listing price" as well as "accepted offer price" to the thread has been considered? Not sure if that has come up before and already has known reasons it isn't included. That's one area I am always wondering about as I think about making an offer, since it seems like some resorts go for asking price and others much below. If we could see both prices, that might educate buyers and sellers on these patterns (while recognizing that typical doesn't apply to each unique listing). Does anyone know if this has been suggested or considered in the past?

This one is close to what you are asking for.

Welcome :)!

I am going to continue to avoid including listing price in the parameters. In all honesty, I don't think that it would be at all useful information and because there are so many variables that contribute to the initial listing price, I don't believe that any real data could be extrapolated. Further, I think that it would create a more "competitive" aspect of the purchase process as it relates to people checking this thread.

I hope that this clarifies! Good luck with your search :sunny:
