First timers to Disney World :banana:driving from Dallas with 3 kids, at the end of July, any must sees along the way?

TIA

I've driven this a few times. How long to you plan to be on the road?

We (briefly) looked into driving from the Big D. The only point of interest (to me anyway) was NOLA. With only 3 of us total, flying was cheaper this time. Would be interested to know what you decide and how that works for you.

If you take the northern route, you can go through Vicksburg if you like Civil War history. We have also stopped at the beach in Pensacola.

A good stopping point is Daphne, Alabama. It's close to Mobile which has a battleship and submarine you can tour and also Belingrath Gardens which is gorgeous but probably better for an older family.

We haven't stopped too much since this is a LONG trip. Bring lots of snacks and car games.

Yikes! That's a long drive. I think that's why god made airplanes!! Best of luck!
