Hey there!
Does anyone use a Road ID when they are running/walking/biking/swimming? I'm considering asking my fiance for one for my upcoming birthday, and am just wondering what everyone's feelings on them are. If you use one, do you have the "original" or "interactive" ID? I like the idea of the interactive, but wonder if it would take a long time for someone to look up the information over the phone or internet. If you have the original, what information do you have on your tag? Also, what version do you use (wrist, ankle, neck, shoe, etc.)?
I'm thinking it would be a good idea as I'm spending so much time out on the trails now, but I'm wondering if the Road ID brand is the best choice. Currently, I NEVER bring my ID with me when I run. I do, however, almost always run with my dog, who has a tag with our phone number on it.... but I guess, I don't know that he wouldn't flee or even possibly attack someone while trying to protect me if I was hit by a car or something.... so maybe not the best security plan...
Thanks for any suggestions!
