Riviera Resort - is there an "Adult only" pool?

It's also worth noting that Disney doesn't use the term "quiet pool." The main pool at a resort - usually with theming, sometimes slides, etc - is called the feature pool. The other pools are called leisure pools.

Quiet pool is used on fan sites like this one. It sometimes leads to the expectation that Disney requires or promises quiet and calm at these pools, and that's not the case. The leisure pools are usually less crowded than the feature pool, but there are no rules about noise.

I was a CM at the Y&BC and we did refer to it as quiet pools. I think leisure is a newer term.

Not so much newer. I've heard the term leisure pool at least ten years or more.

Yes, I think they switched terminology some time ago so people wouldn't think the non-themed pools are "quiet pools".

Yeah, ours were never quiet. We would get complaints about screaming kids in the pool all the time.

How are the polls at Riviera? Considering a few days in July likely just to enjoy the resorts (no parks). Would this be a good choice? We love a good pool but to us that means a relaxing pool That we can bring drinks into or on the edge. Poly Oasis pool is our vibe. How would Riviera fit?

You can't bring a drink into any WDW pool or drink them on the pool deck.

Not true. There are no lifeguards or rules to prohibit drinks in the pool at many leisure pools. Oasis pool at Poly is one of them.
