Riviera Resort: Is It Walkable?

Hi all!

So, now that packages have come out, we're trying to make our decision about where to stay in 2020. Forgive me if this has been asked and answered...is the Riviera walkable to HS and/or Epcot, much like BC/YC/Boardwalk are? I know they will be connected by the Skyline gondolas, but I'm wondering if it is walkable as well?

I believe the answer to that is no. I know you can't walk from CBR due to having to cross busy roads, and Riviera is connected to CBR. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Isn't there still a path connecting CBR to AoA and Pop? If so, it could technically be walkable to those as well.

I suppose there is technically the path that crosses Century Drive there. So true but a far walk...

As the crow flies, Disney's Riviera Resort is actually really close to the World Showcase within Epcot. It's only about 1,400 feet (420 meters) according to Bing Maps.

But, the distance from the resort to an entrance to Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios is much, much further:

There are no sidewalks along E Buena Vista Drive, so you couldn't walk even if you wanted. But if you could, it's over looks to be about 1.4 miles (2.2 km) to the International Gateway and 1.3 miles (2.0 km) to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
