Anyone know the current situation with River Country? Is it open? Closed? If it is closed, is there a date set for its reopening?

It is closed with no current plans to reopen it.

That's such a shame. It made a nice change from the likes of TL and BB.

We are in the middle of planning our second trip to WDW. Our first trip was in 2000. We really loved RC!! I had my Disney photo album out the other day looking at the RC pictures after I found out it was closed. It was SO MUCH FUN and will be greatly missed this trip.
