Rise of Skywalker on Dec 16-20 Dream?

DH is a huge Star Wars fan. We will be on the Disney Dream Dec 16-20. Does anyone know if the new movie will be shown onboard?

I had friends who were on the Fantasy when Force Awakens premiered and it is a Disney movie so I would assume so. Toy Story 4 premiered when we were on the Dream in June. They wouldn't talk about it till closer in though and it wasn't on the voyage navigator or on the app until the day before so just be prepared that there may be a lot of confusion surrounding the movie.

It should be shown around 11pm on the 19th and all day on the 20th.

The official release date is December 20. It is very likely that there will be a premiere on the ship late on December 19, and nearly certain that the movie will be playing several times during the day on December 20.

As DCLCruiseFan09 experienced with Toy Story 4, it is also likely that nothing about the premiere will be officially announced at the beginning of cruise. We had the same experience with Toy Story 4 when on the Magic -- it was clear from the lack of other movies scheduled on the premiere date that Toy Story 4 would be showing, but it wasn't announced until the previous night.

Agree that it should be shown, but not to expect to see it in the Navigator until the 19th. We were on the Fantasy when Captain Marvel opened and they did a late night showing on Thursday (10 or 11) in the larger theater and then most of the day on Friday in the regular movie theater, and then another late night showing in the larger theater on Friday night after the main stage shows. (My son ended up watching it both Thursday and Friday night!) You should have plenty of opportunities to see it.

We had Endgame premier on our cruise. They showed it past midnight and then once more in the morning on the day we left. They did not have a final showtime to announce until the night prior and the cruise director made the announcement at the nightly show and then over the speakers. There were people lining up for it at least two hours ahead.
