The stage is supposed to resemble the Hollywood Bowl.

It looks awesome! :cool1: I'll keep my fingers crossed that we'll get to ride it in April because if it's not open then, we'll have to wait until September 2010! :sad1: :headache:

You mean this view?
;)

This is what we saw on last Wed when we were there and DH goes "Wow that is steep and if was open now you can go clear to space". I told him he can go on it himself I dont do loopy loops. LOL. It does look like a pretty amzaing though and should be a hit when it is opened.

The stage they are building looks awesome too it is about time they built a permanent stage there instead of down and putting it up constantly.

ETA: While driving down Turkey Lake going to Universal we saw the rest of the track for the coaster laying where all the construction vehicles and offices are. (Where the old entrance for the park used to be).

I sure hope the ride will be opened in time for or May 8-13th trip.

FOUR BLOCK BRAKES? :confused3

That seems like a lot, imo. Still, I can't wait to ride it! It's just a few months away! :woohoo:

You don't actually go upside down on this ride. Even though there is a loop, you don't go upside down. You travel on the inside of the loop and then the outside as you go over the top and then back on the inside as you reach the bottom. It is a no inversion coaster.

Anyone see a specs sheet to know what the height requirement will be?

nvm found it on the US IOA site lol

Reaches top speeds of 65 mph and towers 17 stories over Universal Studios Florida.
Features six near-miss moments and first-ever thrills including a record-breaking loop.

Ultimate Adventurers, Adults, & Teens
Height Requirement of 51"

Taller than ROTM, yet not as tall as Hulk/DD--height requirement-wise. Fascinating.

I'm sure it will be another "no bags" ride.

Last week of May for us, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the coaster to be open.

Anyway, I sure could go for a Finnegan's burger and a ride on the Mummy right about now.......... The winter blues have hit me :sad2:

But, on a better note, I did find airline tix from Philly to Atlanta (for my nephew's graduation) on May 20th for only $64 one way, so now I just have to organize it with my parents, and get the tix before they go back over $100.
