They must have changed it--because when I clicked on it, it just says he was hospitalized.

OK, I just rechecked the article, and now they removed the death..LOL, but he is still in critical condition, changed the title to reflect

This is really sad news. Normally, I would have been right on the phone to my dad about this because baseball ruled in his world. Sadly, my dad passed away in October. Sending positive thoughts to the Steinbrenner family.

RIP Big Stein. I'm not a fan of the Yankees but he definitely went against the "norm" when it came to putting together a team. Spare no expense and the fans will stay involved!
