Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

actually memom...dawn has F.O.B. fear of birds...learned that fact during flights of wonder and thought of her. LOL!

Dawn will probably never go close enough to Flights of Wonder to know what she has. :goodvibes

She's supposed to be coming to my school today, and I know you won't believe this, but my kids are reading about and drawing pictures of ostriches! If I put some of their work in the hallway, she may not make it into my classroom!

Those are the coolest birds! I love how the animals at WDW just come around you without any fear.

They probably look at us like "we are the weird creatures"

It must have been very special for you to have had that morning stroll with your two princesses! ;)

Poor Bella...she will never live the "fries" down....:rotfl:

I love that they adopted the other family, Trent is such a nice guy!

Have fun with all the girls today! :goodvibes

It was a very special time. Being in Disney World with my family is truly my heaven on earth!

Jill said Trent strategically placed the girls on the right row so that they would be in the front. She said he was messing with their minds the whole time. You'd have to know Trent to know how true I know that is! He is a maniac, but sometimes he can tell you things so convincingly, you think they are real. He used to call me with things like, "Meet me at the hospital. I've broken my fill-in-the-blank with some random bone." He would go into detail about what happened during basketball or soccer practice, and then when I had my keys in hand about ready to walk out the door, he'd say, "Psyche! What's for dinner?"

I've killed him in my mind a few dozen times! :)

I really hope those big birds aren't there when I go in a couple weeks :scared1:

I love the story of Trent playing with the TOT first timers

I remember when I was younger my family and I went on the Scary Adventures of Snow White and my mom jokingly started screaming.. well we ended up scaring the little girl in the cart behind us a little too much  she started crying and we haven't joked around on rides since :lmao:

Looks like everyone had a very successful morning! I rode Tower of "Tara" exactly one time and it sounds like it was with someone very much like Trent. Lots of fun leading up and I FREAKED the entire way down.

Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday! I've got photos to post soon. Aileen has been looking at the pictures of Bella with her fries and gotten a few ideas of her own. :)

Remember the time that he went to school the day of a HUGE game with a boot on his foot and crutches. The whole school was freaking out until he took it off at like 2:00 and said "I'm good. Let's get ready to play ball!"

That picture of ToT is great! Just looking at it gives me the feeling in my stomach of being ready to plunge into darkness. Eek!! I love that you all adopted the family. LOL!! :)

If they are there, take pictures for Dawn. :)

Sounds like your mom and Trent could know each other. ;)

Did you buy the picture or take a picture of the picture? We need to see Mop freaking out! You need to ride it again with us. We crack up laughing the whole time.

Can't wait to see more pictures of the baby girl! :cutie:

That would be Trent. ::yes::

I love that Trent adopted that family! :lmao: His being really convincing reminds me a lot of Charles. He'll say something and be completely serious about it, and act annoyed when you question it. Just when you're thinking, "hmmm, maybe he IS telling the truth," he'll laugh and say he's just kidding. It's not just me being gullible, either, he still gets his brother and the rest of his family!

Those birds are huge! I thought I was well on my way to developing an intense fear of birds on this trip, because the seagulls especially really bothered me. We had a quick snack at the Lunching Pad yesterday afternoon, and when the table next to us got up for a minute, leaving the remains of their turkey leg, seagulls swooped down and devoured it all in about thirty seconds. That family was not happy when they got back! I felt kind of bad but I wasn't about to shoo those birds away. :scared1: They were ruthless!

Oh, those birds were large, weren't they? But they looked like they were just minding their own business, having a great time walking around POP.

Those guys of yours are so funny - I was laughing so hard on NYE watching their antics. :rotfl: What a hoot they are!

Ahhhh, he tried to tell me something about Mario Lopez (who I think is soooo cute) and I thought he was being serious, but he did not convince me at all because I KNEW it wasn't true (couldn't be :scared1:) but he did sound very convincing! I'll have to remember this for the future :goodvibes

MeMom, will you do the honors of posting pics on my PTR that I send you on the phone? :flower3: :flower3:

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: Trent sounds like he's a fun guy to be around! He reminds me of my crazy cousin.

I love the pics of Bella and the fries. I also like how you always have the girls in matching attire. Girl clothes are way more cuter than boy clothes. My DS is 9 and the clothes definitely aren't cute any more.:)

IDid you buy the picture or take a picture of the picture? We need to see Mop freaking out! You need to ride it again with us. We crack up laughing the whole time.

No photos. That was back before my DIS days. ;) We are talking seriously about an October trip - are you guys still pondering it?

I'll get the photos uploaded at naptime!!

The adopted family story is HYSTERICAL! :rotfl: Has there ever been a time it's backfired on you guys?

Have fun with the girls today! :)

Aileen is not a kid who likes pureed baby food. So we've been struggling to come up with things that are mushy enough for a new eater, but have some nutritional value. Last night I made homemade potato wedges and decided to see what Aileen thought. I think she had a similar opinion as Bella did!

It is so much fun to ride TOT with people who are riding for their first time. It is my favorite ride anyway.

Aileen is a little doll. Bella and Aileen need to meet at Disney for a french fry eating contest.

We like to do this in the Haunted Mansion :lmao: You have to scream really loud though to be heard over the sound track :goodvibes

Just adorable! I think Aileen and Bella would love to enjoy some Casey's fries together!:goodvibes

Wow, those birds were large!! :scared1:

Those poor girls on TOT! I can't believe he put them on the front row! Shame on him! :lmao:

I just realized where the Goofy pop jets were when I saw your picture. I had no idea they were right there and we walked by them everyday! I never went looking for them b/c I thought they were way over on the other side.:sad2:
