I know why you had praisehisname share the song here last night -- you wanted to make sure that if we weren't already bawling over the photos and words, the song would finish us off. Well, it worked!!

All of you were in my prayers this weekend and as we were driving away from our family after many kisses, hugs, and goodbyes I thought of all of you doing the same. It breaks my heart hearing about how sad Brooklynn was on her drive home.

Hope all those ikcy bugs leave your family soon. You have had plenty already this week!

Thanks for all the hugs, thoughts, and prayers today guys! I don't think it has truly hit me since I am used to being away from Trent. I think it will hit the next time I'm up there and he isn't. However, Brooklynn was devastated in the car on the way home before she fell back to sleep. She started crying and in between sobs she said she didn't want her Bubby to go away.

700 miles is not going to keep my girls from the Uncle Bubby they love so much!

She broke my heart saying, "I don't want Bubby to go!" I'll work however many jobs to do what it takes to keep all of us close.

Oh Jill...all of you poor sweet girls! I hope you're all feeling better soon. I know how much those girls will miss their Uncle Bubby, he'll just have to hug them double next time!

If he can't get here in April, the first double hugs may be on a middle meet.

Well the hardest part is hopefully over now MeMom... for you and Jill and the girls.

Yes, the hard part is over. He is focused on a new job today. Jamie said he looked so handsome this morning.

I had planned to do inside chores today, but I caught this bug. I don't know that I will even walk outside today, I am feeling so weak. I am hoping it will be pretty when Brooklynn is here.

I hope to start enjoying my week, but it'll probably be tomorrow, since today has found me feeling pretty yucky. I am glad school is out, so I didn't have to take a day off.

How far away is the college? I think my biggest thing has just been the distance. I was prepared for 3-4 hours, but not ten, so I think that's kind of gotten to me. I just have to keep remembering it's just a two hour flight, though, and I have to get myself in the financial shape to be able to scoot down there when I want to. I'll get used to it.

Yep. I had no intention of crying alone!

Brooklynn will miss her Bubby being here, but she'll get more Disney trips in exchange. I am so glad that Jill and Trent are super close, because Jill will do more than what it takes to see that trips are made and relationships stay strong. So will Trent.

I've been sipping a lemon-lime drink, and I ate half a cracker. Trent called to see if I knew where his SS card was, and I got up to look for it, but didn't last long. I will have to look later. I thought he had it, and he probably does, but just doesn't know where.

Same here -- I'm really lucky in that I rarely get sick. But when I do get sick, I'm angry about it! Kailyn has been sick the past few days and didn't go to school or work today -- I don't know how she made it through work on Saturday because she sounded awful. And Charles has been having sinus issues. I am pretty sure he has chronic sinus issues because it happens to him pretty routinely, but he doesn't go to the doctor for anything, so nothing is confirmed. I'm trying to get him to go for his ear, too (he has had 20% hearing loss in both ears since he was really young but his left ear has gotten worse), but he is so stubborn!

The good side is, I didn't have to use a sick day for school. By the end of this year, I will have used more sick days that I ever have - 3 for the knee surgery, 1-2 for Bella's surgery, depending on how involved it is and what Jill needs, and 2 for my sneak away Mother's Day trip. I never take off that much!

I get aggravated, too. The whole time I am regurgitating, I am thinking 'If this is what hell is like, I don't want to go!'

I can relate on the sinus and hearing stuff. Drew gets awful in the fall and spring with allergies. He sneezes a dozen times in a row, and his eyes water and itch badly.

I hope your feeling better! Let us know how Trent's first day has gone.

I think sleeping all day and then sleeping tonight will do it. I plan to wake up tomorrow and get a lot done around the house.

I talked to him for just a minute. Today, he had to do a lot of clerical work and just get used to the gym. He said he has to go on to Tampa tonight. He'll be back Thursday night. It will be kind of odd going to a place you don't know with people you don't know, but Trent is a people person and makes conversation easily, so he will be fine.
