This is the first time I've done a trip report, so have patience A little background information first:
Trip Members:
Nicole (me) 28, 3rd time to Disney World. The ONLY Disney Lover in the family (but I think I have my 2 year old hooked )
James (DH) 33: 3rd time to Disney World. He does whatever makes me happy, therefore, he willingly joins me on all of our trips. He was spoiled with our first trip of having no children along, though.
Madison (DD) 6: 2nd trip to WDW. She has fun, but says she's been there, done that, and doesn't need to go again
Emilie (DD)2: First trip to WDW. She loves Mickey the best. It might just be her and me on future trips!
Ruth (Mom) 53: First trip to WDW. We brought her along with he and paid her way in return for some free time for DH and myself.
Denny (Step-Dad) 52: 1st time to WDW. Very frugal. Came along with my mom after offered a free hotel room.

Day Two:

My first mistake of the trip. We made priority seatings at 8:05 on a EMH day. So, we waited in the pouring cold rain with every one who wanted into the park. By the time we got to Cinderella's Castle my six year old was crying and my 2 year old was shivering. Breakfast was great, though. There were lots of characters:Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty in her pink dress, Mary Poppins, and I think one more, but I can't remember. Everyone called my 2yr old Ariel because of her red hair. Our waitress was great. She was so friendly. She talked to my shy 6 year old, and told her that she shouldn't be afraid of the people who work at WDW. She said they are her friends. She told her to be sure to check for the white name tag, though. She said to be sure they are white, though. The red ones were just guests. I thought that was super of her.

After breakfast we changed out of their wet dresses and put on dry clothes. Oops, I forgot panties for Emilie. Oh well, we'll skip the panties for now. We went and bought sweatshirts and we were happy. It was still raining, so we did It's A Small World, Peter Pan, and then went to Ariel's Grotto. No waits for any of them. That was super! M DH got his picture taken with Ariel. His favorite. Then the kids and DH did teacups with NO WAIT. That was about the only good thing. The rain really ruined it. We headed over to Toontown then. DH promised Emilie she could meet Minnie.

So, we wait in a short line to meet Minnie. Emilie sees Minnie and runs up and gives her a big hug. Now remember how I told you that the panties had to come off? Well, so did her pants when she ran up to hug Minnie. So, we have great video footage of Em hugging Minnie and mooning us! Same happened with Pooh
 Oh the memories we'll have.

After Toontown, we headed to the resort to cover her bottom with some panties. That was a bit of a challenge because our luggage was being held in the luggage area for our room switch. We got in there and changed her clothes, and by this time the sun was out. We headed over to Animal Kingdom and we did most everything there.

We started with It's Tough To Be A Bug. My mom screamed :) Emilie screamed :( I forgot about the part where the spiders come down. I wish that wasn't so intense for little people because it's a great attraction. We then headed over to the Dinosaur area. We did the Primeval Whirl and the Triceratop Spin (Sorry if those are spelled wrong). Madison is exactly 48" So, they told her no for Primeval Whirt, but the CM at the ride let her ride, and she was fine. She loved it. Emilie loves the Tri. ride. Then we did Dinosaur. That was neat, and we've never done that before. Mom and Emilie played at the boneyard while the rest of us rode. Madison liked it. She was very brave the whole time.

When we finished at that area, we left the park to make our PS at Chef Mickey's. This was our least favorite experience of all of our dining. Maybe if it didn't cost so much. It was just horribly expensive and we didn't get a lot to eat - choice anyway. I thought it was quieter than what I expected, and I didn't feel rushed at all. Maybe not rushed enough. The characters took forever to get to our table. Minnie was last. There was a little girl that had a birthday. They had a huge expensive cake brought in and Minnie spent about 20 minutes at her table. I know money can buy a lot, but I didn't think it was fair for them to have Minnie for 20 minutes while the rest of the room was waiting to see her too. We all paid for the experience. We will never do CM again. We can say we've done it. It wasn't horrible, I was just embarrassed to have paid that much on a meal that we left not having really enjoyed. CRT was awesome, worth the money to us. Characters were great. We didn't leave CM feeling that same way. After Chef Mickey's we went back to our resort.

Since we had brought the babysitter along with us, James and I decided to head to Downtown Disney. We stopped at a margarita place, and DH and I each got a Rum Runner. Not what I expected. They could have invited me over to Epcot to light the torches with my breath. Holy Cow. I was a little loopy after that, and I only could drink half of it. DH had the rest. We visited the new toy store, and I loved the ceilings! I wish I had taken some pictures. DH stuffed a potato head box. He had it all done, and I wanted one more piece, so he stuffed it down, and the box broke! So, he had to start all over. Then he couldn't get them all in :( The CM had pity on him (Mostly because they were closing and they wanted us gone) and she gave him the pieces he couldn't get back in there. He got 72 pieces in the box with it closed. We didn't get the potato. We have a lot of autograph books and mickey ice cream. We did get a lot of bigger stuff too, though.

Then we headed back to our resort, and went to sleep

I think on its tough to be a bug......I always hold my nose for the stink bugs........this is a riot.....and I did scream the first time .......thanks again for your report

Thanks for the report - I always sit forward, because I can't stand the stingers...

Guess everyone has different parts that "bug" them   :hyper:

Thanks for the replies. I'm finding that I have a lot to say each day. So, those of you that have made it all the way through are really impressing me. Who knew I was so windy??? (only all of my family and friends)

Great report. I'll bet little Emilie will enjoy seeing the footage of her mooning you when she is older!

BTW, they do sell panties in the parks. We had to buy some in Animal Kingdom last summer. I refused to do laundry while we were gone and the kids were all out of undies. We bought 2 boxes @ AK (I think it was $18!!!).

I'm sure that shot of Emilie mooning will be priceless in couple of years! Thanks for sharing, your reports are great.

We looked at one of the gift shops for panties and they only had a size ten. The only thing funnier than her fanny hanging out would have been her panties hanging out the bottom of her capris. It was definitely a unique picture. How many people do you suppose own a picture of Minnie like that?
