We're a group of dis-ers of all ages and geographic locations who are here to support and encourage each other in our healthier living goals. Whether you are looking to exercise more, lose weight, eat better, work on self-care or any other healthy living goal, please join us!

We have weekly volunteer hosts and typically follow a Monday-Sunday format:

MOTIVATION MONDAY - TOPIC TUESDAY - WOOHOO WEDNESDAY - THANKFUL THURSDAY - FREE FOR ALL FRIDAY - SOCIAL SATURDAY - SELF-CARE SUNDAY

Vacation motivation. Next week is our trip and I know the eating will be less than ideal (although lots more exercise) so trying to stay focused this week to feel good for next!
 
When I put on a touch of makeup this morning I could see the weight loss in my face, which is now at about -10 pounds all told. One small positive from the past weeks. It has got me motived to keep going to lose more.

Last week a thing came across my IG feed about being in survival mode (fight/flee/freeze), so I read the article. I realized I've been in survival mode at work for months, since the org I'm in was disbanded. The symptoms of survival mode are very similar to the regular neurodivergent behaviors, so it was a big ah-ha as to why I've been struggling so much lately. So my other motivation this week is to incorporate some of the things that promote feeling safe, so I can get back to better balance.
