Rider Swap Question

We have never needed to use this before, so I am a bit confused;

What rides have rider swap?

Can you use rider swap on standby lines? How does it work? Can you all wait in line together and then step aside, or do you have to wait a whole second round (after first rider gets off, takes baby)? How many people can ride with that rider that sat out the first time? Group of 7 going with a 6 month old baby.

How do you use it on FassPass? Can you all wait in line together, then step aside? How many can ride with this swapped out rider?

Can you carry a 6 month old on everything that doesn't have rider swap?

Any info is helpful. We are going week before Christmas, so it will be very busy. Don't want to waste any time there being confused.

All rides with height restrictions have rider swap. You can use it in either stand by or FP lines. The child who is too small to ride cannot enter the line at all so someone has to wait outside while the first group rides. Then the pass is good for a total of 3 people to ride the next go around. The person or group with the rider swap pass will go through the FP line regardless of whether the first group used FP or not.

The baby can go on any ride that doesn't have a height minimum.

7 adults plus baby, 6 ride with FP and get swap pass, then the other adult uses their FP and gets 3 others to ride (off of the swap pass?)

You could do this, but you don't need to. The swap pass works like a FP. You could book FPs for 4, then have the other three ride using the swap pass.

Basically, walk up to ride you want the swap for. You will need to show them the baby. The person/people riding first will be given the swap card or a lanyard to trade for the swap card later in the line. They then enter whichever line (standby or FP). After they ride, the second group goes up with the swap card and goes through the FP line.

The group that is waiting can wait anywhere. They can ride another ride, have a snack. In fact, you don't even need to use that rider switch card right away. Most are good till the end of the month.

The other adult won't need their FP to ride, just the rider swap. They would use the Rider Swap pass and can bring 2 people with them. If you wanted 4 to ride the second time around though one would need a FP to go through the line with you. Also be aware you don't have to use the Rider Swap right away. They are usually good through the end of the month so we often just use it at a later time.

If should be noted that FEA offers rider swap as well. There are no height restrictions so it's kind of the exception to the rule. However, it is very nice. I recently used it last week and it worked great allowing us to be flexible with our FP+ selections. It also allowed our party to experience FEA due to high demand.

About FEA, no fass passes will probably be available for us, since its within 30 days tomorrow. So can 4 of us wait in standby line, get a swap pass and the other 3 ride off of that pass? The standby line may be totally too long, but want to know if its possible.
